Nice place to spend time with a tropical theme inside, sample as many cocktails as possible and generally have plenty of fun. There’s an upstairs bar too which can be a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle downstairs. Try a cocktail with fire, there’s nothing like hot alcohol burning your throat!! Better than the chains you get over the road in the Mailbox.
Love this bar, anytime I've been here I've had a good time. I like the intimacy of the venue, with its small size and cosy tropical setting. The staff are generally great and the service even better. Now, the cocktails... They use proper rum, not basic Bacardi rum like most bars that claim to serve 'cocktails'! The menu is quite extensive for the size f the bar, so take the time you need to choose from the pretty vast selection. The 'rum runner' is my favourite. On a Thursday happy hour goes on all night, which is great.. but if you're at work the next day you'll want to be mindful not to take advantage of the bogof offers! Great venue, will be back again soon.
Went for drinks after work Xmas meal, good vibe and nice drinks. Music was fairly mixed but the two rooms are different so some choice anyway. Smaller venue than others but worth checking out. The fact they sold Hooch was a winner!
We had our friends annual Christmas night out here and it's always fantastic, good vibes, great bar staff, dangerously nice cocktails and tunes you forgotten about half the time mixed with jams, r&b and recent Very much recommend on your own for a quick on, a first date or even a massive group renting upstairs
Love it here, good crowd and excellent bar skills from the staff. Great selection of cocktails made very well, bit you might have to wait a little time to get served as they are busy doing cocktails.
Fun tiki style cocktail bar. Good menu, friendly service but the music sucks . Drinks are very sweet but a fun bar to visit.

The 5 stars are for the cocktails. I think they could be the best in the city centre. No gimmicks just solid delivery. The bar staff have a excellent knowledge of the liquor behind the bar and expert mixing skills! However the surroundings could do with a refresh. Very lively at the weekend, great night out.
Brilliant cocktail bar, the staff really know their stuff, very knowledgeable. They recommended cocktails based on our tastes. The atmosphere was great, very cosy place. The music was really good, they were playing 70s and 80s funk, soul and r&b tunes when we were there. We managed to time it right too with happy hour. I would definitely recommend, definitely going back next time we're in Birmingham.
One of the best to do it, if you like Caribbean themed cocktails without the commercial feel of places like turtle bay look no further. Great cocktails and a great atmosphere the music is on point regardless of the genre you're guaranteed a great night here. The best thing about this place is you can start your night here, end your night here or spend your whole night here it caters for all groups and types. Highly recommended, get a flaming moes to start your night!
