Excellent. Prices for the food are really good for the amount and quality you get. A £12 ish macaroni cheese with additional toppings is potentially more than enough for one person. Lots of good variation. Drinks are all reasonably priced for local pubs and has a good selection. Service is really good, friendly and helpful. All in all a very good experience, especially for the location.
Excellent burger, fish pie and small dishes. The chicken wings were zingy! And the fish pie was a good varied mix of flavours. Relaxed atmosphere Saturday lunchtime and friendly and helpful staff. Lots of gluten free options on the menu. We recommend and will go here again.
Amazing vegan pot pie and Mac and cheese with smoked truffles on top. A little pricey, but absolutely delicious!

Always great food and service but the toilets are to be avoided at all costs. They are like something from a horror movie
First time visiting North St Standard the other day and did not disappoint. Very cool and funky atmosphere, friendly and fun staff. Great choices on food and drinks menu, the portion sizes great size too. Will definitely be back and recommending to others.

The food although limited in scope is well presented and wholesome. The range of beer, original well kept and in good condition. The lack of soft furnishings and a low ceiling make something of an echo chamber, to noise produced by an unfettered gaggle of unsupervised children. Not a place to go for a quiet pint and meaningful conversation.
This place has the perfect cafe/bar/pub feel. One of my favourite places to get a hang over Sunday breakfast for sure, or work here with a laptop during the day.
