Always SO impressed with the food here :- Local, delicious and always such good value. The last few times we've been I've been blown away by how good all the food was. Really good selection of local beers, a good wine list and really friendly service too- really recommend!
One of my favourite restaurant pub which has great food and supporting local sourced food and drinks, craft beers and ciders.. On the river, near Mardyke Wharf along the Hotwells road/area, see the boats go by with 'ss Great Britain' in the distance is pretty special as a relaxing location even more so on a gorgeous day! Had to pop in here again for a quick drink and pint of real ale and this very special restaurant and pub delivers yet again. Friendly welcoming staff, fantastic location and another great experience too. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely atmosphere. Next time we'll have a meal too...
fantastic venue! great view and friendly service! most of the small tapas dishes are delicious! And the skin on chips is great to go with a pint! veggie pie was good too! looking forward to going back again!
Visited from London for Lawless comic con. Very cool place but as some people mentioned before if you call establishment like that, you should have much bigger choice of craft beers. Only one sour... Oh well. Food was great, good portions, we've had all chips, the best in our opinion was 'posh' with cheese. I've had mussels, that was my first time having meal like that, it was great but more like an appetizer, so don't be silly and order something more filling. Surprised how big this place is, 3 levels, but bottom one was closed. Waiting time was reasonable. Can’t beat a view from top level specially in sunny day
Came here for our friends birthday party and it was great!! We were in the hold bar down below. Drinks were great, lovely venue to have a party at and we certainly enjoyed ourselves. The food was also delicious, the mini burgers, chips, and basically everything was amazing. Would recommend based on our night there :
First port of call whenever we come to Bristol. We come for a brunch/lunch thing when its quieter and just chill out quicker than anywhere else. Love it. Disco fries dipped in soup of the day? Floats my boat x
Didn't get a table on the deck, but inside wasn't bad either. Tables and sits were a little sticky. Beer was OK, but I did not like my salmon. Overall, worth stopping by for the waterfront experience.
Went in for drinks. There was a quiz on which was nice, that was a Tuesday. Dog friendly. Nice food selection of fish & vegetarian dishes. Also seemed busy. Nice staff & good service. Would recommend!
Terrific roast lunch here, the pies with gravy, roast potatoes and veg are absolutely fantastic. I'd usually choose beef or lamb but this was all vegetarian and vegan food and I was not disappointed. Couldn't fault it at all. Great ales of their own and the staff are excellent. Highly recommended.
Great setting and good drinks selection. Toilets ok, but a little smelly. Loved the coat hooks in the loos!
