We didn’t stay here but man that was one beautiful breakfast. Hot fresh, perfect scrambled, sausage and bacon and lovely toast and proper filter coffee! Many thanks

lovely atmosphere, helpful staff - good price. Location is quite decent, depending on where you wanna go. The Marina is a long, but doable walk away. The lanes are in walking distance, and the general area is lovely.

Good location. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms ok and bed was comfortable. However carpets very dirty, and no shades on bedside lamps which resulted in a burnt hand. Breakfast was very good Saturday and sunday, not so much on the monday. Although no fault of the hotel the area is very noisy and we were woken every night by drunks screaming and shouting.

The room was more than adequate but being right next to the entrance meant it was quite noisy. This was made worse by the incredibly squeaky floorboard seemingly outside the room! Don't let this detract you from booking (just avoid room 114 if possible!) as otherwise it was perfect and the breakfast was lovely too. Staff were friendly and helpful, would recommend to people looking for an affordable hotel to stay in Brighton.

I have stayed here on several occasions now and the service and welcome is consistently excellent. The atmosphere and energy in the hotel is relaxed and very comfortable. It has a biju charm to it with a variety of art throughout the place. This evening I ate in the bistro. The food was excellent, great value and again the service was great. I shall be back again ☺
