I recently stayed at the Best Western Princes Marine Hotel in Hove with my parents and girlfriend, and overall, we had a really lovely experience. We booked two separate rooms and were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a sea-facing room – the view was gorgeous, especially in the morning.nnThe hotel itself is a bit on the older side, but it has a cozy, welcoming feel. The staff, especially the ladies working during breakfast, were absolutely wonderful – super friendly and attentive. Speaking of breakfast, it was one of the highlights of our stay. It was included in our rate and made to order, which was such a nice touch. Everything was fresh and tasty – definitely a step up from the usual buffet setups.nnOur room was clean and comfortable, and I have to mention the shower pressure – it was amazing! After a long day out, it was exactly what we needed.nnThe only downside is that the hotel is a bit of a walk or short bus ride away from Brighton’s city center, so it’s not the most central location if you’re planning to spend a lot of time downtown. But if you don’t mind that or prefer something a bit quieter with a lovely seafront location, it’s a great spot.nnWould definitely recommend and would happily stay again.
We had a room facing the seafront which was beautiful. Room was really nice comfy beds and lovely staff. I loved the beach just being across the road from the hotel as well as a bus stop right outside the hotel so you can grab a bus into Brighton if you didnt want to walk itnnThe only faults would be due to having a room with a sea view where the sun hits all day it does make the room very hot and sometimes the windows have no affect however a fan is in the room for extra effect and we also had a smell coming for the bathroom/drains everytime we used the shower or toilet which was really bad
We stayed here for one night to attend a gig in Brighton. The hotel was such a pleasant surprise. Everything was nice and clean. The bathroom felt like brand new. The room top floor had a terrace and great view. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was really great, again with fantastic service. Motorbike space in the rear car park....The hotel really made our stay.
Spent weekend here as its close to where our daughter now lives. Hotel staff are all lovely. Room has all that was required with no frills and was clean, warm and comfortable. Weather and view as seen in photos went from glorious sunshine to gales and rain, but view still great!
This hotel exceeded all of my expectations, so I will undoubtedly book here again when in the Brighton area.nThe room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean!!nThe breakfast was hands down the most delicious out of all the Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Thank you, chef!nThe reason they get 4 stars is because only after booking and paying in full did they inform me that the lift wasn't working. Upon check-in, a kind gentleman carried my bags up 3 flightsof stairs. However, the receptionist got a bit huffy when I called on checkout for help to get them down again.nOtherwise, a great stay.nThe 700 bus stop is literally outside their front door.
