Incredibley poor experience. Please don't use this company if you have high blood pressure or like good service. Hired a van to move house, was told 3 days before delivery it was going to be late due to the last hires damage, not ideal but no ones fault. Asked to call at 10 am on the delivery day and had the misfortune of my call being answered by Dean. Rude does not even come close. Long story short, rude and unhelpful and unresponsive company. Every time I called I was told to email. This while I was needing to move furniture out of my house for a deadline. Finally got the van, asked to change pick up address, was told there was a charge for this. 8 days later they have still not collected the van. Alsoy complaint has not been acknowledged in the 7 days since lodging it.
Vehicle arrived 2 hours late from initial selected drop-off slot. When vehicle arrived the condition of vehicle was awful from the amount of dirt inside to the scratches and dents all over the vehicle. One particular bitnof damage was the dent/crack in the windscreen which was certainly not legal to drive with let alone rent out to someone. The vehicle also arrived with a seat still inside, the chap who delivered the vehicle said 'we had to leave it on because we couldn't take it out'.. sounds a bit lame considering I rented a van thinking I could use the entire space inside and not have a seat as an obstacle. Once the delivery man had left, he returned 5 minutes later to tell me that on his way he noticed that the van had low tyre pressure and too keep an eye on this... - WHAT A JOKE! To top the review off, it's now 2 months since my vehicle rental and I still have not received my deposit even though I have been told it was processed 10 days after the rental. I've emailed numerous times requesting a transaction reference number so that I can show it to my bank for them to find the transaction if it has been made. Today I called up again to be told there was an issue with the system for the first refund and that it had been made again... no one had told me this or responded to any of my 10 emails over the last 2 months. Absolute cowboy company and would not recommend using at all. I will be suing for negligence.
Reporting to trading standards as unfairly took £2,000 off me. Van arrived 4 hours late and I was never told of the excess £2,000 until I signed the paperwork when the van turned up. As I was just about to leave for Spain I had no option to book another van company late on a Saturday night. I did have a small accident and they took all £2,000 much more then the cost to fix. Now going to trading standards and will pursue through the small claims court.
Shocking service! First of all, where they state they're located is a lie! Went there and nine of the businesses in that location have even heard of this company. DO NOT USE AS PAYMENTS TO THEM STE NOT COVERED UNDER SECTION 75 SO YOU CAN'T CLAIM YOUR MONEY BACK WHEN PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD BECAUSE IT DOESN'T GET PAID DIRECTLY TO THE NAMED COMPANY. Absolutely fraudulent. We ordered a people carrier to go away with for Christmas. Weeks before I contacted them to ask if there's any info they require from me. No response until days before. On the day of expected delivery, a delivery slot of 10am - 12pm was allocated on the day. The driver was meant call when they're on their way, no contact was made. 12:04 I started receiving calls that the vehicle to be delivered was faulty and they're replacing it. They said it'll be a 2 hour delay. Fast forward to 6pm after a day of calling, which only goes to a useless call centre, who knows what these fraudsters are doing but continues to deceive the customers, a young guy turns up with a vehicle saying he literally got a call to deliver the vehicle at 4:30pm he picked it up for 5pm when they were cleaning it. Never got my deposit back.
Awful customer service, refused to collect the car in the given window of 0800-1000, refused to give any update or even a 6 hour window or any window of when the car might be collected. Said the car can be collected in the next 72 hours in their small print. Said the would call me back with an update by 1300 latest today Saturday, of course they didn't, and this just happens to be when their offices close so I cannot even call them to chase again. You have to do everything right for them, provide them all the money and security upfront. They provide exceptionally poor service in return. I'm left stranded feeling like an idiot for using this company for a very simple transaction. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!
Beware!!!...They keep hold of your deposit for 3 weeks! There is absolutely no point in using this company as many others vehicle rental companies are cheaper and release your deposit immediately. Avoid at all costs
Absolutely scammers, im chasing them to give my deposit back 500£ already 3 mounts, they still didnt . They send me email that all was fine and the deposit will be back within 10days but never happen. Also they have change my car 3 times before sending it to me .AVOID
Would give no stars if I could. Van hours late being dropped and collected, NVR fabricated damage that was already on the vehicle our photo’s timed and dated to prove it awful & apathetic customer service, no proper complaints procedure. Waited over a month for my deposit back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Do not use this service under ANY circumstance! Not only were they 4 hours late on delivery and another 3 hours at pickup, but they will try and scam you out of your money for the most ridiculous and outrageous damage claims!! Avoid them like the plague unless you want to use a untrustworthy service which might cost you more than what you paid for! Worst service I've ever used!
The agent was late in bringing the car and collecting it, the car was in a bad state with scratches all over it, I had to take them to the small claim court in order to recover my deposit. Avoid.
