Lovely park, but in the middle of nowhere, can't go walking as there is no pathways , as the roads are very busy main roads, so need a car or catch the bus, the bus stop is right outside, but we waited over 55 minutes for a bus.Location: 2/5
It's hard to score this place. Absolutely amazing accommodation! Had everything we needed and more. The area is remote but saying that it's only a short drive to Ilfracombe. I feel it would be better if there was an onsite shop . But our overall experience was great Rooms: 3 bedrooms that were comfortable ish ...one of the twin bedrooms the bed was not great. Safety: Very safe
Stayed at Surf Lodge. It has 3 bedrooms for 4 adults and 2 kids. It has everything we need except the washing machines where you have to hire laundrette nearby. It is within 30 minutes driving to the the main tourist attractions Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Combe Martin etc.
Stayed in a lodge let through AirBnB with 3 bedrooms for 2 weeks. The lodge is Lovely and has eveything we need. There is no wifi but the owner is sorting it as the Park has stopped providing wifi. It's a shame the shop on site has closed as its in the middle of nowhere and you need a car or a journey by bus to the nearest supermarket. The launderette on site is decent but gets busy. Tried walking into Ifracombe but there are no pavements and so felt very unsafe. No footpaths that we have seen from this place. The depot eatery is next door but is ~£15 a meal.

We have had a wonderful stay. Very friendly and helpful owners who have honed their accommodation to offer just what we needed for a 3 night stay that included breakfasts. Tastefully decorated practical room with patio. Good location for exploring and at a fair price.
This is the perfect location to be at to explore North Devon and Exmoor. The site is only a moment from Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Barnstaple etc and only 20mins from my favourite spot at Lynmouth. The sea appears on the horizon everywhere you turn, and yet the site itself is wrapped in greenery and peaceful aside from the twittering of birds.
Centrally located so easy access to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. The accommodation was nice and clean. Everything we needed was already at the accommodation like towels etc. Dogs had to be kept on leads on the site, including the two dog walking fields but it was very convenient to have the fields to walk in. I would definitely return.
Had a great stay recently. Great location. Lodge was fantastic with great facilities The grounds were very well kept
We stopped here for a coffee on our motorcycles on a warm, sunny day. The staff were friendly and helpful especially when my son spilled his drink!, and sitting outside was a real treat, although we could sit inside but it was too nice not to!Service: 5/5
