We stayed at Cheglinch Farm Glamping this weekend with a group of friends. The site was absolutely beautiful. A perfect balance between being neat and tidy without being character-less. We booked all three yurts, but I loved that each tent had its own toilet, kitchen and shower so although the yurts were all close together it still felt very private. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with everything you would need to cook and prepare food. The shower and toilet facilities were modern and well kept. Although it was very cold this weekend, Ella had gone to great lengths to make sure we were as warm as possible with additional blankets and hot water bottles. Being able to collect eggs from the hens each morning was a fabulous bonus! Thank you Cheglinch for a fantastic first glamping experience!
We had a wonderful time at the campsite. The tents are cosy and spacious, everything is so well thought through, from the wheelbarrow to get your luggage from the car to the well equipped outside kitchen. The kids loved to get the eggs from the chickens for breakfast, we watched the calves getting their milk, it was such a peaceful environment. Also just a 15 minute drive to some of the most amazing beaches.I am sure we will come again. Thank you Ella!
This was our second time staying at Cheglinch after a fantastic stay in 2021. As before the accommodation and amenities were excellent: - clean tents with comfortable beds - good private cooking, toilet and bathroom facilities - a lovely play area for kids, plus lots of farm animals for the kids to see. Not to mention fresh eggs from the hens each morning. - good location; close to a few towns, restaurants and beaches - fantastic host who is always responsive Lots to love about Cheglinch, would stay there again!
Wonderful glamping site. Well thought out,great facilities and everything to make your stay. Kitchens well equipped, toilets clean, tents spacious and super comfortable. The children loved the Guinea pigs and Chickens. We are booking for next year without hesitation. Thank you Ella and team.
We stayed with our two kids age 4.5 and 1.5. The farm and its surroundings are beautiful and Ella has literally thought of everything. The tent is huge and the beds are really comfy and warm. The kids loved going to collect the fresh eggs from the chicken hutch every morning and saying hello to the guinea pigs too. From a practical pov, the kitchen was ace and had all the cooking the equipment you needed and there's also a play barn if the weather isn't great to hide out in with a few tables and games along with plug sockets which is handy. We loved our stay and Ella was really kind and helpful.
I stayed at Cheglinch Farm Glamping site last week with my two Daughters. It was wonderful. The belle tents were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, we all slept extremely well. My daughter's loved going to the chickens every morning to collect our eggs.. they loved to see the calves too. All of the facilities were fantastic, Ella really has thought of everything. We will definitely be back to stay next summer !! Xx
Just finished a 3 night stay. A fantastic place to spend some time. Really friendly, and the area is great for young kids to run around and play. A great mix of spending time outdoors with basic, yet great facilities! Showers are clean and hot, the kitchen is well equipped, and the tents are comfy! Would recommend and will definitely return at some point.
Wow! Friendly, clean and ideal for those seeking some tranquility and more luxury than camping. The guniea pigs, cats, and calfs kept our little ones happy, along with the mud kitchen and ping pong table in the outside areas. We also had our own chickens who laid eggs every morning for the children to collect. With an inside area in the barn with games for the children, well equipped individual cooking facilities, they really have thought of everything. Whether families or couples just a beautiful place to stay. I couldnt suggest changing a thing. Its amazing. We will most definitely be back!
