Stayed on a hard standing small pitch with a VW T2 camper. Perfect size for a couple with a dog. Good facilities and was a secluded quiet feel as we had a large hedge one side of pitch and one pitch next to use which had a hedge other side of that. Nearby activities: A great dog friendly beach a short walk from the site basic walk. Ilfracombe town centre is walking distance too but about 20 mins and up a hill.
This holiday park is probably not instantly my style but I loved it. The location is excellent close to the sea but sheltered from the wind. The toilet and shower block are immaculate and the welcome was superb. There are only a few tent pitches so booking might be wise. We had our pitches altered due to the weather and they communicated with us before to tell us. They really care about this park and it shows. There are rules but they come with a light touch. It is just so well run and friendly.
Me and my partner stayed in the Studio Pod with Hot Tub and it was faultless. The room was superb and spotless, it had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable, and overall a perfect room for 2 people. The hot tub and patio area was very private, and everything worked perfectly. The man at the desk was so helpful, giving us a map and drawing out the perfect routes and recommending the best places to eat and drink. The park itself was so quiet, still, calm and relaxed. 10/10.
The best place! Clean facilities, good walks around the area. Near to the pub and premier shop! Booked with a larger pitch but It doesnt matter. Hence, this is the last moment i been with my person, We broke up after the trip. Wish that I can comeback to reminisce the quiet and peaceful vibe it gave me. Thanks much
Stayed here in motorhome. Good level pitches with water tap and grey waste disposal. Site very well maintained. Shower and toilet block imaculately cleanService: 5/5
We stayed in our campervan for 2 nights in early July. Pitch fully serviced with reasonable speed wi-fi included Hard standing Plenty of room and well marked boundaries Toilets & showers very clean 25 minute walk to Ilfracombe over steep hill. Mix of road and good track Thatch pub on route which is great. Check in staff very friendly Nearby activities: Organised trip to Lundy island which we loved
Fantastic site really good pitch sizes . The toilets and showers very clean fantastic location for hele bay. illfracomb a long walk up a steep hill so we just stayed around Hele Bay would definitely recommend this site very clean and well kept.
Just returned from a three night stay in our motorhome. An excellent site within walking distance to Ilfracombe and Hele Bay. The shower/toilet facilities are exceptionally clean and tidy and there are enough so you never have to queue. Great idea to have toilet/sink/shower all in one unit to enjoy your privacy. Our pitch had its own self contained fresh water tap, electricity and a grey water disposal - absolutely brilliant! The site was lovely and quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone - couples and families alike.
Stayed here for a night before an event in Ilfracombe. Camped in the van and I was very impressed. Good size pitches, toilets and facilities were clean and well presented. You could tell the staff and owners care about there holiday park. I'd happily stay again if I was up that way.Rooms: 5/5
