Only stored my caravan here for the winter, have never stayed here. Woman in reception is very nice and very helpful

Good stop-over heading north or south but also a base to explore the southern uplands. A nice convenient site, easy access and good facilities.

I was cycling LEJOG and this camp site was a great find. Exactly what I wanted. £8 for me and my small tent suited me fine. Nice showers too but no way of charging my phone/ satnav/ camera, essential in a cycling trip

Nice facilities very clean. Reasonably laid out site level gravel pitches. T v reception ok.  
Fairly bad train noise as site is right next to main line.
