This is a nice place to relax,nEveryone seems friendly,nFantastic walks & ViewsnBut NO INTERNET. !nThe Card Machine at bar is useless, so you need cash, don't know what you would do if you boua £50 round & their machine didn't work,nI did feel embarrassed knowing how much was in my bank & on the 6th time of decline my card I went & got cash, meanwhile more people were coming to the bar, it was embarrassing for me
A very pleasant and simple, good value staic caravan site. Absolutely perfect for a bunch of blokes on a Scottish driving holiday. Very clean and the pub on site is great for drinks and entertainment pool, darts, arcade.
I loved it here. In terms of amenities, it is quite basic, but being in Scotland; if you want a swim, find a loch. The setting is beautiful. The tavern is reasonably priced and the site gets over taken by rabbits every evening. On top of all this you're right next to the West Coast Main Line so you get to see one of the UK's main arteries at work.
Very uneven pitches, be prepared yo use ramps, wedges and blocks. Toilets adequate but chemical disposal is quite a lift up.nDidn't try the bar/restaurant but menu looks okay.
Just had a lovely four night stay at Moffat Manor Holiday Park. The static caravan was immaculate, cosy and warm. The grounds were stunning and the service was excellent. There was a nice little camp shop on site. We were aware of the trains but got used to them very quickly. Moffat is 5 mins away and has some lovely shops and friendly people, all surrounded by stunning scenery. The Devil's Beef Tub took my breath away. A really good holiday.
