Very nice council run Campsite, only about 30 berths and a few of them look like they are set up for long term habitation, so phone ahead to book. site warden will get back to you if you leave a message. Facilities are great and location is outstanding. It's in a quiet village in the Scottish border region.  Within 500m, there is a local pub where we enjoyed a pint and dinner in the evening. and there's also a small Bakery that served us an enormous Breakfast!  the toilet and facilities block were immaculate and well looked after, cleaned twice a day and accessible by code given on arrival.. We had a short overnight but very pleasant stay.  quiet and friendly site.

We have just got home from a week here and can honestly say we had a fantastic time. The site is well run, immaculately clean toilet block cleaned twice a day ! Located on Kirk Loch with free fishing and free boating for non powered craft. I took my Kayak and had a paddle most days. Pub right next door serving good food and beer at good prices. We will be back here in the future without doubt !! A gem of a site !

Great site. New shower block. Good shower. Enjoyed the fishing and 2 mins on foot to village. Pub on hand with great food and garden. Lots of nice walks.  Castle loch close by which has a new 3 mile circular walk. Little gem this place

This is a lovely little campsite right on Kirkloch, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely walks - would definitely stay here again. Perfect stopover to the Highlands.

Lovely wee site right by the Loch.. Could almost fish from the door of the van! All amenities/facilities on the site were spotlessly clean and Reception staff were very helpful. Local walks, golf, sailing, tennis, bowls etc all very close. Crown Hotel with food and large Beer Garden less than 50m away.. Happy Days!

Amazing spot right on the loch edge. Warden and everyone we met were super friendly. Free fishing with coaching from the regulars if you are lucky. The local hotel does reasonable food and there is a lovely bakery and fish and chip shop in the village. If you are lucky you can watch the sunset, sitting on the grass by the loch. If you are allocated a pitch at the rear, you will get tree sap on your unit and try and steer clear of the pitch by the village play area which can be busy/noisy.

Amazing little camping area overlooking the loch. Toilet block kept very clean. The Crown hotel at end of park excellent staff and food. Lovely area to sit out. Would definitely recommend this site

The site itself was amazing as was the facilities. Weather was brilliant. What made this experience even better was the residents on site. They were very welcoming helpful and polite towards me and my partner. Will definitely be back!

Campsite site functional and met our needs.ladies  and mens toilets needs new shower curtain and metal container for holding shower gel ,apart from this very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the level of noise from the adjacent pub/hotel.every word in every song could be heard making it seem the singer was inside of our van at pitch 22.

Nice place to camp whilst travelling. Toilet block with showers was good too.
