Excellent shop, reasonable prices, friendly with a good selection of 12", LPs and especially 7". One of the two record-shops in Glasgow i would definitely visit again.
Love this wee shop. Peter is always friendly and helpful and you'll always find something that you like at a good price. Bought this Cream compilation today in immaculate condition and at a great price too!
West End vinyl benchmarks. Great prices especially on new releases.
Nice wee record shop. Not many bargains to be had mind.
A friend was selling some records. Django Reinhardt and Thelonious Monk amongst others. She was happy with an offer. The fella was brand new and had a wee chat. Worth a visit.
This is a great place for a good browse. Focus on the vinyl, with some great collectables adorning the walls. Good mixture of used and new. On my visits so far I've come home with something I wasn't expecting to find. Second hand sections include extensive jazz, folk and classical vinyl. Plenty of pop, rock, soul and punk too, as well as quite a decent second hand DVD section.
Great selection of punk new wave condition priced accordingly
This place is not easy to find, it being down a side street. That said it is a worthwhile place to visit if you like music. Records are on offer at reasonable prices if you don't mind looking for them amongst racks. There is a section devoted to current releases and repressings on heavyweight vinyl. The premises are not large so please bear that in mind when you appear with your rucksack/handbag. Music can be played here at least at the moment on both CD and record, so you can test your purchase before leaving the premises. Leave yourself plenty of time to browse, and you can pay by cash or card.
I was recommended by a mate to take some second hand records back that I had to Mixed Up. I had a mix of original vinyls all in excellent no scratches or noise conditions and some newer pressing from the naughties the same, had replaced all these through remasters or box sets. All the original Police albums, James Taylor albums. Moody Blues, Genesis, Sting etc etc. I took in 21 albums in on a day I was advised to go in when the owner buyer was in. He came out from the back office on request, took two minutes to flip through, never looked at quality of any of the vinyl and offered £40. This was also just toward taking it as shop credit not cash. I was taken aback but said yes as they had been collecting dust. I will look into somewhere else in future.
This wee place can be a diamond mine for 2nd hand vinyl and very quickly relieve you of that surplus cash you never had to start with. Also good place to trade in any vinyl that didn't survive the annual cull as they give pretty good trade in value and easy to find stuff to"swap" it for...
