Been in business since 1983, when I opened my first stall in ARGYLE STREET MARKET!!
Now firmly established in Chisholm Street since1991.
I have always had a love of music, mainly Punk and Rock, but like other artists too.

In Glasgow for few days. This place was recommended by a friend. Thought would have a look as had few hrs spare,glad I did. Great shop,not only vinyl,which is what I went in for,but a whole host of music related stuff. Cracking  selection,helpful owner had good chat. Loved it in there. Fantastic shop exceptional service and always a pleasure shopping here for vintage vinyl.  I went in today 05/05/23 on a rare day off and was not disappointed! The owner Paul is a cracking guy and as usual really friendly and helpful. I  got some brilliant vinyl! Please keep up the brilliant work!

This shop just popped into my head. I used to shop here way back in the 90s when i was a young goth. We all used to hang about the Modern Art Galleries and up the massive graveyard. I used to buy all my hoodies and cd's from here. I am glad it's still open. I will be taking a trip into visit soon.

Great selection of vintage records. Nice merch available. The owner is really helpful, and there was occasionally a dog in there. What more could you ask for? :

I visited Record Fayre for the first time on Thursday. I only had time for a quick browse through the vinyl as Mrs. G had other plans for me unfortunately. I was totally impressed by the service,layout,and friendliness. I managed to buy a few old favourites and I must add that the condition of the 2nd hand purchases was excellent,and priced well too. Will definitely be back.
