An average cinema theatre. It has lots of screens. The architectural design of this theatre is not that great and most of the escalators were not functioning when I went for a movie here. The building is also not well lit and I don't understand the logic behind that.
Couldn't give this place a better review, was in last night to see the opening of the new joker film and had a medical emergency in the super screen where an amazing first aid trained member of staff I think his name was Michael was so sweet and helpful whilst having an epileptic seizure. Other staff who helped where absolutely amazing and so sweet and considerate during a private emergency situation giving me space when I needed it and assisting my partner throughout the full process to help me be as comfortable as possible! Through giving me privacy and a place to lie down, and try to regain consciousness alongside making sure I had water they where so patient and helpful! Will definitely be back and in high hopes other people with the condition epilepsy know for a fact they will be safe and supported by the staff here if the unfortunate was to ever occur If I could give the service and experience higher than 5 stars i definitely would Thank you again to the amazing staff who assisted during an embarrassing and dangerous time and made me as comfortable as humanly possible! BIG THANKS TO MICHAEL! I think that was his name
Most every Cineworld we've been to has been great. This one is no exception. Set out over five floors, be prepared to play the zigzag dash, with the kids up the escalators, if your movie is being screened on the top floor. Vertigo anyone? There's a nice little Starbucks on the first floor if you've arrived extremely early, as we had. And there are concession stands on each level. The toilets are clean, which is always a bonus and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - always a plus. Rather quite randomly, there were amazing views over parts of the city from the top floor - a nice suprise and a wonderful perspective. Lastly, if you've driven in, don't forget to validate your parking on the ground floor opposite the automatic ticket machines for a 30% reduction on your fee. We parked at the parking garage directly opposite the Cineworld but I imagine it's for any and all nearby. If you're sneaky, like me, and you haven't watched a movie just nip in and validate your ticket regardless - nobody's watching. Enjoy.
Used to be great, always a great showing of movies and great staff. Last good few years though it is just filled with screeching teenagers who are actively annoying everyone and seem to go in for the sake of making noise. Staff used to remove them or warn them. Now staff don't say a thing and allow everyone else to be disturbed. Closing 6 branches across the UK it seems, hardly surprising, no one will go if they don't actually get to enjoy a movie in peace.
The only real bad thing about this cinema is if you don't like going up lifts and your screen is on the top floor, then you have to go up a dozen or more escalators. The seats are decent enough to keep you sitting upright and comfortable.
The location is next to the central bus station of Glasgow where there are multiple screenings including 4dx
Great cinema. Staff have always been brilliant, screens are clean. Whenever there has been queues, they’re dealt with quickly and overall, it’s always been a great experience
VIP shown in photos was a good experience, although don't be fooled by the video adverts that show a 'silver service' dinner service where you are waited on hand and foot - its actually a serve yourself buffet with 1 Indian meal option, 1 American option, 1 Chinese option, 1 Italian option and a British option along with sides and puddings. Some of The staff here could do with improving their attitude and to remember that income from customers pays their wages. 1 or 2 staff that I've come across really couldn't care less about the service they offer. Generally, an okay cinema.
Very dlgood cinema, they have many screen choices, I tried almost all of them: the 4DX, 3D, superscreen, and the normal screen. Great experience. Just one advice for students: If you want to get a student discount, just book through the official website, not the app. They also have offers for families and children. Also, they have VIP tickets with a buffet.
Although we only popped in for a visit to fill time, I felt I should definitely come and write a review to praise a staff member who made our time here lovely. Unfortunately I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name, but he was working on the 5th floor on Friday the 15th of March 2024. He had lovely dusty grey/white hair I apologise if I’m not good at description! But me and my mother were lookin to fill time and went in for a blind moviea movie we didn’t know anything about He got us our drinks and tickets with a smile, even waving back at me as we exit. It was only a small gesture, but he truly made our day a lot better after traveling up from the Isle of Wight to visit family. A smile goes a long way, and he had a lovely one. We hope to come here again to see movies, as the theatre itself was comfortable and clean! The view was also spectacular!
