FOPP on Union Street is a digital retailer of music CDs and video DVDs, it also sells vinyl records and books and all this at reasonable prices. It must be quite difficult for this type of shop to survive in the digital age with downloads being the norm but any competition has to be good and they are more attune with normal life, for instance they pay taxes and rates. The service here was as you would expect.
Great selection and really good prices. Will definitely go back there next time I’m in Glasgow. It’s conveniently next to Tim Hortons and the train station.
We've taken three vinyl albums back to this shop in the last two weeks, all manufactured by DOL: one of many dodgy vinyl reissue companies churning out garbage they can't even design a record sleeve that takes the record without struggling with it!. I've never come across such poor quality vinyl pressings, and on one of the records there was absolutely no discernible bass. I had to listen to the same track on CD as a comparison because I couldn't quite believe my ears. The reason for the 3 star review is because we were refused a refund on the last LP we took back and given a gift voucher instead, even though we had the receipt.
Brilliant music and film shop. Really well stocked with a wide variety of cd's, blu-ray, dvd, vinyl and books. Staff are all really friendly and helpful if needed. I always try and support the High Street retailer where I can, and I think Fopp on Union Street is worth supporting!
Went there for some one piece dvds and got them. They also have a very good selection.
Excellent vfm that is matched by the equally excellent customer service. As a long time customer, stretching back to the store opening, I can honestly say that I have always found the service to be beyond any criticism. Always helpful, always friendly, always professional. Giving five stars really doesn't do the staff justice.
I got two box sets from here and they worked great would come back again and get my DVD's and CD's from here had no problems with my purchases and staff are always nice and friendly
Great place for old dvds, but they have weird way of displaying them. Took me an hour to find once apon time in Hollywood.
great shop with a great vinyl selection. i managed to get KanYe West's "Late Registration", which i had never found in any other shop. would recommend to music lovers who live nearby.
