Been here a few times in the past and had a great experience with food and drink with meals being an absolute delight and I wanted to go back for more I enjoyed that well. Kitchen storage are great and polite, even tho the service sometimes is a little slow but really didn't change the experience for me. Bar staff are friendly but have come across a few members of staff having body language of not wanting to be there and not as polite as kitchen staff. But overall, food is outstanding, especially the fish! Well priced and cozy. I will be more than happy to return in the near future.

When we arrived at 6.10pm all the tables in the main dining area were booked and the remaining tables were in a section which was booked out from 7pm which meant we had to rush our food...then, on getting to the Carvery we discovered there was no beef on offer which should have been disclosed at the point of sale but wasn't. So due to lack of time to find another restaurant we just went with the flow.... after the rushed meal, we decided to order a dessert for one of us, to go..it took over 10 mins for this piece of cake to be put in a box which when accompanied by a toddler who just wanted to go, was a very long time....the staff were not exactly tripping over themselves to find out where our dessert was when asked and really looked like they couldn't really be bothered at all....we will not be in a rush to return there.

After visiting the same chain near Chester (Mollington?) and really enjoyed our food, we thought we'd stop here on the way home...bad mistake... Worst meal I've ever had. Arrived just after 8pm. Fancied Pizza. Ovens broken. No beef and didn't like the look of the dry turkey and ham (looked like it had been there for 2 hrs) so went for steak pie. We ordered a starter (chicken strips). Had to chase twice for starter and eventually after about 25 mins it arrived with the mains. My pie was foul. Was so dry I had to use a stabbing action with the knife to get in, and when I did, there was only two pieces of meat inside. The ones on the edge were dry to the point of being like boot leather. My wife had ham & eggs, bit couldn't have chips as they weren't ready. By the time they arrived she had nearly finished. We asked for a refund for dessert. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures.

Had a really Nice Carvery with a friend. Would recommend. Really reasonable price as well

Fresh pizza is a must. Take out box for left overs too. Comes with salad selection.
