Only ever collected food and have never encountered problems with delivery delays personally but I have overheard phone calls whilst waiting for my own food and it definitely seems to be a problem with this establishment. The food I have ordered has always been ok and has always been ready at the time they have stated on the phone for collection. Never had an issue with them getting old is wrong even though I have occasionally ordered 6 or 7 meals and accompaniments at the same time. Nothing special in my opinion but perfectly acceptable if it is bastardised Chinese food designed for English patrons is what you are looking for.

Having eaten from China Garden Express before and found the food o be quite agreeable i trusted them to deliver the same standard of food. Having been told that the delivery would be 1 1/2 hours with which i agreed.Just over 2 hours later and following a polite but non the less' fob off 'phone call i was contemplating utilizing another local Chinese take away for the evening meal when the delivery finally arrived. The food that arrived had obviously being standing for some time and was luke warm at best. Not normally one to complain however, i believe in paying a fair price for a fair deal. Luke warm food that you have to wait an age for does not cut it.

Was extremely disappointed with China Garden Express. We ordered from there tonight and not only did they get the order, the address and phone number wrong, when they finally rang to explain they said that the food would be prepared again fresh. It definatly wasn't, it was cold and stale. Total waste of money :(
