I don't really know where to start, the first think I noticed when went in there is that it is absolutely freezing, the door is left open & doesn't close properly so there is cold air constantly blowing in & they have a tiny £10 heater in the corner which does absolutely nothing to help so don't even consider eating in there. The worst think about this place was the customer service, the tall chubby guy that served us had a constant condescending grin on his face which didn't make us feel very welcome & was pretty insulting, there were stacks of menus everywhere saying buy one get one free but when we asked about it he just said 'that finished ages ago'. When we ordered they didn't have what we wanted so changed our order then when it was ready he just dropped the bag on the counter without even saying anything! His customer service was dreadful & it gave a very bad impression of the place. As for the food it wasn't bad but was quite expensive for what we got & far from makes up for the terrible service.
Great food if they are actually open, went to the shop today at 14:00 and it was shut! Yet they have a lunch time special meal deal on Tuesday & Thursday from 12:30 till 3:30. What's the point if your not going to open! Unfortunately this isn't even the first time this has happened. Here's an update from the 06/07/17. The shop was open so I was quite excited but what I was served well that was just shocking. The chicken teriyaki was definitely not teriyaki and it was in 2 separate containers noodles and chicken not together so none of the flavour from the stir fry had blended together. No wonder it was quiet in there will never again return to chop chop. Utterly disgusted and disappointed.
Food is fantastic but advertise they are open Tuesday and Thursday lunch time 12-3 but have not been open for around a month but don't bother putting a notice in the door.
New owners took over about a week ago and they've definitely turned the place around.
Such lovely staff, always friendly and helpful and they do vegan food!!!
Stodgy, overlooked, dry, cheap cuts of meat, not good.. my recommendation: go elsewhere.
Their food is AMAZING
HIGHLY recommend this place
