I had the privilege of working at Mildenhall Lodge for six years, and it truly felt like a second home to me. The environment is warm and welcoming, and the management, led by a supportive and understanding manager, fosters a team-oriented atmosphere where everyone’s input is valued. My opinions were always listened to and taken into account, which made me feel respected and appreciated as a staff member.nnOne of the highlights of working here was the wonderful team of coworkers. The staff at Mildenhall Lodge come from diverse, multicultural backgrounds, and there is a strong sense of inclusion and camaraderie. This diversity made the workplace rich in culture and learning experiences. Additionally, the residents were absolutely lovely, and being a part of their care was always a rewarding experience.nnEvery day, I looked forward to coming to work because of the positive environment and the relationships I built over the years. Although I left Mildenhall Lodge due to a promotion, I still think of it fondly and consider it a place that will always hold a special place in my heart. I highly recommend Mildenhall Lodge for both staff and residents alike—it’s a place where care, respect, and community truly shine.
Mildenhall Lodge is amazing super clean, safe and comfortable. Residents are always happy and smiling. Such caring staff. They feel like family. It is like a little village. They provided excellent care for my mother including palative care before she passed. Look at their Facebook page they have activities every day lots of entertainers. Many parties and events. Regular outings and trips. They all go above and beyond. I love the make a wish and the lengths the go to make them come true It was a great comfort to know she was in such safe caring hands. I had the pleasure of being part of appreciation week. The lovely Marina contacted me and asked if I would provide some treatments for the staff which included massages, manicures and pedicures. The staff were all really friendly and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. I would recommend this care home to anyone who’s looking for their loved ones to be looked after. Marina, Cassie, Laura,Maryna, June, Joanna, Shelagh, Honor, Shannon and Vikki were all so positive and caring and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The home itself is kept to a high standard of cleanliness so it’s extremely apparent how hard everyone works to maintain this. The residents all seemed happy, comfortable and content in their environment and I feel honoured to have been involved in showing the staff how appreciated they all are for their hard work.
