I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall as a firefighter. The airbase is like a small town. Located in the Fens, with access to the town of Mildenhall, and further afield, Bury St. Edmonds, Ely and Cambridge, England, it was a great vocational and cultural experience.

Spent 2 years here serving with the 513th Security Police Squadron. This is a great base and I enjoyed my time in the United Kingdom!!

Former WWII Lancaster Bomber Base and still active (though without lancasters). My first visit here and to the WWII RAF Pub. I like most stand outside in the public areas at the end of the runway. Well maintained grounds and a privilege to see. A credit to this base and keeping our aviation heritage alive. Though limited in what can be seen my personal score is 10/10.

One of my favourite places to visit for maby years to photograph the aircraft.. DON'T close it please USAF
