I wish I could give this practice 0 stars. I went here as it was close by at the time despite the negative reviews and I couldn't have regretted it more. I was treated poorly by doctors who honestly didn't seem to know what they were doing. I was misdiagnosed and made to take unnecessary medication for a week by a doctor who was nothing short of condescending and unsympathetic, a situation that could have been avoided if she had listened to me as it was something I had suffered from in the past. Another did her best to frighten me, suggesting I could have cancer because I was delayed in getting a checkup sorted. It was like a pantomime the way she twisted her face and gasped loudly and dramatically at my records. Of course I turned out to be in perfect health after all. The only positive experience I ever had was with a doctor who was only visiting for a week and doesn't normally work here. If I had no choice but to go back here I would probably choose to simply stay home and die.

Absolutely disgusting service and an appalling surgery to be registered at. Disgusted how they treat their patients at this surgery. Not understanding at all. If you have an emergency and need an appointment you will not get an appointment for the next 2 days and that is the emergency appointment. Disgusted. I had to ring NHS 24 as the receptionist could not give me an appointment till 2 days as she didn't think the situation was an emergency. Got their ass kicked when I phoned back and said I have to be seen as according to NHS 24 this is an emergency and if you don't you will be responsible if something happens. Then the Receptionist offered a same day appointment. What happened there i wonder.......you all of a sudden found an appointment. Disgusting behaviour. Reception staff at this surgery are always so rude and not helpful at all. Especially the really large receptionist. Has an attitude problem and so does the rest of them. Seen DR Armstrong once and never again. She has no clue what she is doing. DR Grant was amazing who has know retired. DR Homer and DR Mellor are the only 2 doctors I would ever see. I have know left this surgery coz of their disgusting service. The new surgery I am registered at is amazing and lovely staff and so caring. Maybe Meadows Medical Practice should learn some manners and people skills from the surgery am registered at. It will stop them from losing patients due to their stinking attitude.

Absolutely disgusted with how patients are treated by reception staff here. The doctors also don't seem to have a clue what they're doing and have mis diagnosed myself and my partner a few times. They have made vital errors in mine and my baby's care. Receptionists seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful( except the really young girl, she's only nice one) I have witnessed the large lady be extremely rude to people many times and they are always making mistakes. Am still waiting on a call from the doctor after having rung in an emergency last week. Ended up in A and E! Abysmal, have now left. Should have listened to the warnings I received, it really is a joke of a practice with uncaring and rude staff

Visited the practice for the first time today.They were running late,however the receptionist came out and advised me there would be a delay and apologised for this.Dr Mellor was very friendly and approachable and effective.Would recommend this practice from my experience today.
