The best GP care I have ever received. Compassionate, understanding, and responsive. I feel truly listened to and involved in decisions about my care, and actions such as referrals are followed up on promptly. Reception staff are also excellent. They have made a real positive impact on my life after having some bad experiences with other GPs. Great online appointment and prescription service, and I can always get through on the phone. I don't understand how anybody has given a bad review. There is one nurse I ask not to see because her bedside manner leaves me feeling told off and anxious, but every other person at the practice has been patient, kind, and clear.
Honestly, I've never received the help I needed with LEITH Surgery. I've learnt to NOT rely on medical attention from them and the receptionists are just people sent from hell. You can never get passed them to see a real doctor. I can write a whole essay on how bad leith surgery is despite having good doctors...
The employees here are fantastic! In my experience they have never been busy but registering as a new patient took a little while however the people who work at reception do their hardest to accommodate a lot of people. A little bit of kindness is needed in this world and always treat the staff with respect.
All staff are very helpful and friendly. Absolutely great surgery. Emergency clinic is an excellent service. Very happy and lucky to have this surgery!
This surgery has been great with me over the years, recently ive had very difficult issues & they have been there for me percent Doctors, nurses, receptionist with appointments or call back we got it sorted would recomend fully Thank you
Truly lovely people. The reception team are considerate and helpful when calling to make an appointment. The nurses are caring, chatty make genuine attempts to settle nerves, and the GPs themselves are fantastic at listening and validating your concerns. The most helpful GP I've been registered with.
Its so extreme that we got so many positive views after some negative views dont know which its true or content farm or that its such a coincidence , and this phenomenon happens a lot, probably we all work for the master, need to offer reputation protection
Doctor I hadn't spoken to before called after I requested a call back to do with symptoms and medication. Doctor couldn't of been anymore flat, not really listening and wasn't willing to talk through my problems and told to just call for another appointment. Left the call feeling let down and unheard. My questions and reason for call are still unanswered.
To be fair, when you actually manage to get an appointment with a doctor at this practice they are very helpful and accommodating. The problem for me has been some of the reception staff. Some of them have been very rude and abrupt when I have rang about appointments. I was made to feel that I was the inconvenience to them despite only looking for an emergency appointment. I appreciate they have a difficult job and deal with a huge amount of people every day, but a little.common courtesy and respect would go a long way.
I have been using the surgery for years. The GPs and nurses are good. The receptionists used to be polite and helpful. Unfortunately, things changed. Most of the current receptionists are rude and not trying to help. So good luck.
