Ordered two identical bikes, one from Frog manufacturer directly and one from the Manchesterbikes shop. The bike from the manufacturer came with no issues. The bike from Manchesterbikes was the opposite, the front brakes didn’t work, you could pull the brake handle and the front brakes didn’t move. Below on the pink bike you can see the brake structure is out of alignment compared to the green bike from manufacturer & this is after I’ve tightened it, before the structure was about 1-2inch further apart. The bike shop didn’t fit the chain guard. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and they said they should have. Taken the bike to another professional bike shop and they couldn’t fit the guard even with guide from the manufacturer. They said the crank is defective and sticks out by a few mm which prevents the guard from being fitted. I’ve contacted this shop and had very little help and they have basically wiped their hands of this.
Very accommodating for test riding some cargo bikes, friendly, patient. Good with the kids and found a parking spot round the back easy on a weekday morning.
Thanks Manchester Bikes - the deal you gave me on my Swifty One push scooter basically gave me the option to get it. I was happy enough with my small-wheel hard-tyre scooter... until I test rode this. Its silent glide and the freedom to ride on almost any surface are the best. And it never skids. And it's light and easy to fold. I could go on! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, took their time to assist. Thanks again - very, very much
Excellent service, brilliant knowlege of bikes even after buying the bike, bike test 1 months rental : used for commute & work, choice of bikes available is good, bikeabilty course with council arranged strongly advised if not been cycling for a while, full demo with staff before leaving with new Tern bike. Best of all, the bike I was advised to get, fits my needs & has saved me a fortune in petrol, insurance & repairs carbon belt, no chain. Been to other bike shops, MB was above & beyond any of these. Outstanding!

Manchester Bikes offer a variety of services. I've just had a second bike serviced by them and the service I received was top and now I can't imagine going anywhere else. Every staff member is very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable. I honestly could listen to them talk about bikes, their passion is contagious. They have an automated text service so you know when your bike is ready or if there is a delay in obtaining parts. Also worth mentioning that they don't use your contact details to spam you. On top of all this, they were accommodating in storing my bike until I could pick it up. Definitely recommend
Cute shop with very friendly service. I was replacing my inner tube outside the shop when it exploded as I was pumping it and they very kindly offered me a free replacement.

I went there my bike motor wasn't working and some of the stuff are very rude won't recommend going there and two of nut of my bike was missing now I am having problem with it !!!
I have rented a city bike myself from Manchester Bike Hire... the store guy was too helpful and he clearly made me understand all the terms and conditions... I will recommend this shop for hiring bikes in Manchester.
