Fantastic to be here at Go Outdoors. I'm always happy to look out for something I wished to add to the household. Absolutely seen a great variety of products in store, hiking shoes, fishing equipment, camping gear and accessories, and clothing for adventurous travelers. I ended up getting two comfy recliner chairs with stable support, well designed with great mechanics, and quality is excellent as well.
Checkout could not process my valid - accepted gift card. Other staff members too busy chatting to help young cashier out with my £90 purchase. Also, trainee cashier was belittled by colleague at the till whilst trying to renew my membership. Walked away empty handed. Went to Bury store where I received excellent customer service and spent £120.
Just browsing today. Lots of good quality gear for climbing to the summits in the lake district.
Products aren't bad and the prices are great, the staff are rarely seen, been stood waiting at the tills to be served on a few occasions where there would be either nobody there or a conversation happening that is more important than serving customers.
I don't know why there is a phone number on your profile when not one of my 10 or more calls were answered. Difficult to try spend money when you can't confirm some simple information on products and stock or talk to someone from this store.
Gone down hill not as good as it used to be. Alot of the same makes and prices are cheaper at other stores in the city, these don't require a member card. Also the toilets have been out of order for a long time.
Came here in November to get some walking boots. Iain was very helpful in helping to find the right shoe for me. Would recommend.
Bought a burghaus air6.1xl a few weeks ago, went camping and tent failed on the first night so brought it back to swap for a new one and was given a replacement at the tills, got it home and pulled it out to check and to my amazement they have given me a tent that’s already been used and taken back to the store, after 4 trips to go outdoors and £50 in fuel going backwards and forwards i finely have the brand new tent I paid a lot of money for, nothing was offered for the massive waste of time we had, not a great experience if im honest
OMG... it is big and tons of outdoor gears, clothes and accessories.. too many too many... Some are in clearance sale, try grab a bargain.
Visited the store after receiving a 'sale' catalogue through the post. Wanted to buy a Rab jacket so thought I'd have a look. When I arrived I noticed folk leaving the store empty handed - strange as the 'sale' was on. Looked at the jackets but was unable to remove any from the racks as they were all chained together, making it impossible to try them on. Disappointing 'sale' too, so much for up to 60% off! Walked out without making a purchase, understand now why the previous shoppers all left empty handed! There's clearly a shoplifting issue, but am thinking they probably lost more revenue due to potential purchasers inability to examine the products..
