Amazing service, have been a few times now and Dan Spashett has worked wonders for my road and TT Bike position , eliminating a knee pain issue rapidly and also educating me on how to further strengthen it off the bike.
I have now had a cyclo-cross and road bike fit at Cyclefit Manchester which have both been amazing! The fit was thorough and specific to my needs as a cyclist. I have previously had knee and back pain on the bike which were both dealt with at the fit and have had no problems since! I was fitted with foot beds and spaces in my shoes to help support my knee which have been great and stopped my knee pain. The equipment used was amazing and allowed us to try different set ups during the fit to see which gave the best numbers and most comfortable position. The staff at the shop were extremely friendly and attentive, also they addressed my problems and could adjust my position during the fit from my feedback. I also had a follow up appointment to adjust any changes after being able to ride the new position. My overall experience was extremely beneficial and I would highly recommend to any cyclist who needs help with set up or that is having aches and pains on the bike :
I have been so well looked after by Matt and the staff at Cyclefit Manchester. I suffer the ever- present much under-rated saddle issue and having had a saddle mapping session/ bike- fit have returned because the saddle I took initially has caused a hot-spot somewhere else. Matt and co have taken me back in and re-assessed my saddle after several weeks: I am now in possession of another to try out- no charge but time and care added in by the bucket load. Ladies and gents out there- get your saddles and positions sorted with the kind, considerate and knowledgeable staff of Cyclefit. P. S. If it is good enough for Spartacus then who am I to argue.
Amazing service, couldn't recommend anyone better. soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by all the staff. The fit itself was superb, position on the bike now feels great and my numbers have increased dramatically... It was that good I have visited for a second fit on my TT bike, and due to some muscle tightness found by the physio there, I have now been supplied with a series of stretches which is improving my comfort in the TT position.
Superb afternoon with Cyclefit Manchester. Professional Bike Fit with a qualified physiotherapist - An unrivalled experience in MCR Or LDN! for sure. Level of insight, advice & knowledge from staff, combined with in-store technology is exceptional. Desperately needed a Bike Fit to help with lower back pain & knee issues after a year of cycling. CyclefitMCR did everything. Sporting questionnaires - flex tests - bike setup position - foot scans - insoles & some more testing! All of this combined to help make my position on the bike a lot more comfortable & natural. Can't wait to get going on the roads again. Would recommend to absolutely anyone - From rookie rider to professional. Go go go!
Thanks to the team at Cyclefit Manchester for helping a 60 year old win races! Their attention to detail and understanding of an old body's physical restrictions has been fantastic. The team couldn't be more welcoming and helpful and being cyclists themselves gave me confidence to make the changes they suggested both to the bike position and having foot beds. I'd recommend them to any cyclist. Suggestions for the shop: get a coffee machine and water bowl for my dog.
The service I got was first class from start to finish the staff go out of there way to look after you, Dan the physio was very helpful as too was Ryan ,Matt and Liam. Thank you for your help and assistance, I would recommend this service to any cyclist.
Great service. Only ended up with small changes to my existing bike, but they have had a big effect, making me much more comfortable. I will definitely be coming back for a TT fit.
Having previously had bike fits, I was a bit skeptical about what they actually did. However, the benefit I got from having a bike fit from Cyclefit has made me a lot more comfortable and efficient when cycling to the point where I feel like, for the first time in a long time, I can generate decent power outputs/speeds without getting injured or putting stress in the wrong areas. It was a very personal service that took over 3 hours and the focus was on getting the best outcome for me rather than usher me out the door within a certain time frame which has happened before. They listened to everything I said and Dan, who performed the bike fit, from a physio and biomech background, gave me a comprehensive assessment and went on to explain the rationale of why he was doing what he was doing, which was refreshing. I had custom made insoles made and cranks shortened as well as moving everything forward - which worked wonders for me and made me as cheesy as it sounds want to go out ASAP and ride my bike! Cyclists typically spend fortunes on bikes and equipment. However, relatively speaking this is a small investment which can save you a fortune in money with physio costs as well as giving yourself the best possible chance of not being injured. Definitely recommended...which rare coming from a skeptic.
Professional at all the way. Riders can sense whether he is a business man or a Real rider, answers will be find if you talk to these guys they are truly Riders with great senses of cycling knowledges. Doubtlessly really a pro-shop that I have never seen in elsewhere before! Looking forward to be there again and I love that Honey Allroad too much!
