I didn't realise mash potato was such in short supply until having Pie and mash here, it was also is sort of squashed flat to make it look bigger :- Otherwise it was a nice and reasonable value, particularly if two of you are eating. Nice and polite staff too and spacious place to eat.Food: 3/5
Service was great, sadly my sirloin steak was not. Mainly fat and gristle unevenly cooked. Nachos were good as was kids food. Pints on the pricy side for a pub.Food: 2/5
Fab food, helpful staff and good atmosphere. Though I don’t recommend sitting too close to the speakers on a Monday night - their quiz master has quite a voice on him! Food: 5/5
Nice pub, nice food and atmosphere. Only thing I would say lets it down is the access to get to the disabled toilet. It is an absolute nightmare to get through especially when it's really busy at the bar. Maybe should think about putting the disabled toilet near the car park entrance at the back of the pub. Wheelchair accessibility: Not great for getting to the disabled toilet when it's very busy.
Ate here two nights in a row with family and friends for a get together,food was great value and tapas was brilliant.Very helpful polite staff, we had a loveley time and will be back.Food: 5/5
This is typical pub food and good value. The service by Jane was very good and she checked we were happy with our meal. The chicken pie was delicious and the veg nicely cooked - not dried out! There is a buzzy atmosphere that did not impinge on our conversation.
Impromptu snack and rest stop. Staff were lovely and helpful re adapting menu items for an allergy, friendly and welcoming too. Small plates were ideal for lighter eaters. It was a pleasant atmosphere.Food: 4/5
I have been drinking and eating in this pub for over 20 years and since Billy and his amazing team took over about a year ago I have never felt more comfortable here, the team are very friendly and polite, and always willing to help anyone with anything !!, the food is always served quickly and hot and to an excellent standard, the entertainment evenings are always amazing, I also enjoy the free pool Wednesdays and the meat draw Sundays, the outside space is quite big and the carpark is a nice size to, would highly recommend this pub for food, friendly helpful staff and amazing entertainment evenings I would not go anywhere else billy and his team go over and beyond to make this pub customer and dog friendly
Great food menu has changed since last visit and much improved. Staff were attentive and very helpful. Just a little too breezy with all doors open!Food: 5/5
Had a roast beef Sunday roast good portions, followed by a great pudding, all good. Reasonable price plus cold beer, enjoyed the meal and atmosphere, would recommend this venue. Parking: 20 + at the side and rear
