Roof top terrace, great service and the food is actually on point. I had the ramen which was quite surprisingly good. A good spoons this one. Went back for breakfast which was spot on.Food: 5/5
A nice Wetherspoons in a great location near to Guildhall and the premier inn. Cheap drinks and nice atmosphere in the upstairs bit. Popped in for breakfast which is great value for money.Food: 5/5
A top class provincial Spoons well worth the short walk out of town if only to visit the Cuban Cigar shop next doorService: 5/5
Food was okay, low amount of chips for a meal in comparison to other spoons. Service was fine, facilities were adequate but not that clean dirty tables and previous meals left on tables Vegetarian options: The vegetarian burger was okay, nothing special about it. It wasn’t overcooked or undercooked. Low amount of salad and sauces in the burger.
Popped in for breakfast with my two kids. Ordered on the app, paid on the app so easy. Waited 45 minutes for two fruit bowls and a cooked breakfast. Fruit bowls were 47% apple, 47% banana, 6% blueberries that was it... Sausage was cold, beans, cold, egg plastic & inedible, toast literally black underneath. Bacon tasted like it was cooked don a burnt griddle. Sadly worst breakfast I've had in ages.
It was quiet being that it was breakfast time. Only saw two staff, And many tables were full of plates. But understandable if understaffed. The food came promptly and was very niceFood: 5/5
Decent enough pub for a bit and beer. Good choice on tap at cheaper prices. Nice terrace up top.Food: 3/5
It was a match day in Southampton so the place was absolutely rammed packed, but managed to find the last table outside by the entrance! They had loads of staff serving, so service was pretty quick when they were so busy. Food arrived speedily too, hot and tasty. Comment about smokers, not the pub: A group of customers who decided stand by the entrance right by our table to smoke! The wind was blowing in our direction too! There were other diners behind us too. Luckily, they finished before food arrived, otherwise, I would definitely say something although I wasn't happy with the smoke billowing towards me before. Other smokers moved to the other side of the entrance, the pavements near the road. Much more considerate!
The reason I rate this so low is that the food my friend and I ordered looked like child's meals. They treated very unappetising. My friend had a very small burger and I had a piece of plain chicken. It was Luke warm and rubbery. The food was literally plonked on the table with dirty cutlery by a member of staff who didn't know how to smile or engage. I appreciate it was a busy Friday night but customer service and food quality shouldn't waver. Whilst I can't prove this but after eating here I had to be in hospital with food poisoning. Not a good experience.
Lovely pub, as you can expect from a Wetherspoons. Staff were lovely and drinks all arrived nice and fast along with the food that we all ordered off the app. Lovely outdoor seating area with a good view of town.Food: 4/5
