I recently bought a BMW 116d after going to look at a few different options on sale at Nick King. I was left to look around the forecourt with no pressure from the salesman, and once I had seen the car I liked the look of a test drive was no problem at all. I couldn't fault the car, the only issue I could find was the tracking being off which wasn't an issue for them to put right. Upon them sending the car for it's service/MOT/health check they found a fault with the ABS system which I hadn't picked up on during the test drive. Collecting the car took a little longer than expected as they had to get parts in, but I was just happy they were rectifying an issue that a lot of places may have ignored. They even went as far as to accommodate me with a courtesy car to keep me on the road whilst the repairs took place. The salesman who I dealt with, Phil, was very friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from here again.
Just sold my car to Nick King deposit already paid on my next car, a train journey away!, very impressed with his valuation, the best price from 3 dealers I visited. From this experience I won't hesitate in checking his stock when I decide to change again. A very positive experience.
I recently was going to buy an Audi a1 from here that I liked the look of and was going to view it after the new year. After travelling nearly 3 hours to view, I arrived and was told the car was in the garage when I was told on the phone this day was fine to view it. However, due to the miscommunication, they offered to put a tank of diesel in the car when I come to collect it. I then travelled back up as the car was ready to go, but when looking at the car it was not as described, there was a dent in the side door, body work was not great and inside the drivers door by the hinge was a crack. It also smelt of paint inside too. Car salesman Phil offered to cover the marks with pen, and give £50 off. In all honesty Phil was quite rude, suggesting that I should have known the cars come with some sort of scratches or dents, however this should have been put in the description as if not it implies that body work is in good condition, if it was in the description I wouldn't have bothered enquiring about the car nor travelled 3 hours up there to view it. I obviously didn't end up buying this car and was given my refund back in a very abrupt manner.AVOID.
I bought a car from nick king and I was in need of a new car for my job and he got it done so quick I had a few things that needed to be done on the car and he got it done in a couple of days. Very helpful. I’ve always had good service from nick king car sales. I recommend to anyone wanting to buy a car.
Recently purchased a Nissan Qashqai from Nick King Gloucester and I am very happy! I will mention when we first visited I did feel a bit unwelcome, I feel like I was slightly judged for my age wanting to buy a more expensive car and asking questions however when we returned the following day to test drive the same car I felt very welcomed. Everyone has a bad day at work and it did not stop me from returning! Phil had great customer service and was able to answer all questions, if he didn’t know he would actively seek the answer! When we questioned the cam belt he offered for this to be done as part of preparation and got trade price which will save me a fair bit of money in future. I would very much recommend this garage to anyone who wants to buy a high quality car and does not want to be ripped off.
Sold me a Audi A5 Quattro which turned out not to be a Quattro. Offered me a partial refund of £200 which is a joke. But have since stopped answering my calls. When i did get through to someone i could hear someone in the background telling them to put the phone down. Citizen advice have said I will be entitled to up to a 75% partial refund for being seriously mislead upon buying the car. I'm in process of taking legal action! Avoid at all costs.
excellent customer service very quick and easy. I rang up Saturday about the Ford focus I was interested in and went through the process and was picking it up the next day. Very happy with the service that was provided to me.
Was really interested in buying one of their BMWs, I don’t know the name of the guy we spoke to but his attitude was disgusting, he was an older man with grey/black hair. Very rude to us, I suspect because we were a younger couple. If you’re not happy in a customer facing role get a different job…simple really. AVOID NICK KING.
As a newcomer to the UK a fellow recommended Nick King's. I purchased two vehicles here and they are both great. Shout ot to Phil, who is an amazing salesman and a quite possibly one of the best human beings out there. Thanks, Phil!
Dec 22 bought passat est all went ok nice salesman Jeff sorted a few small faults before I came back for it even sourced and posted missing hand book nocked bit off price seem to be people of their word
