I love this place! So much to see and learn about it great city and all for free. donation is suggested near the museum shop. Shame that some of the exhibits were broken, but for 'free', I'm not complaining. My granddaughter loved it too, at 2 years old. It is an excellent place to take young, and older kids to. And adults will find it fascinating too. It has a good shop on site too. I was sad that the cafe isn't open at the moment. When I've been before, it was child friendly and great value too. I hope that the council reopens the cafe
Delightful museum with relics of old and new , a floor devoted to our wonderful planet with various stuffed species , short fils , interactive resources and animal sounds as you walk!!! There's a cafe , gift shop and 3 floors! Good interactive learning for all ages!!! Brilliant xx
Visiting a new place always is exciting for me, but this one wasn't. At first a kind and polite lady who was welcomed to me was so nice. Brilliant museum! I visited on a Friday morning in term time and it was lovely and quiet. I enjoyed a good half an hour having a real good look around. The staff are friendly, and toilets clean. Would definitely come back here again in the future.

I really enjoyed my time at the museum. There is alot to look at and I didn't get to explore everything. I'll definitely go back.
Excellent first time visit. Lots of things to see and experience for all ages including a teddy bear hunt for the younger children. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, they made the experience more enjoyable. Will definitely visit again if in the area.
Loved everything about this place. We had a good 2 hours in the museum, it is absolutely smashing the kids love it, it's free entry but you can make a small donation if you would like to it all helps go towards the museum everything the museum had for you to see is absolutely amazing.
