Set on a beautiful island in the canal just 2 miles from Leeds city centre, Thwaite Mills is one of the last examples in Britain of a water-powered mill.
Thwaite Mills opens on weekends and throughout the week during school holidays.
Regular hours: Saturday and Sunday, 13:00 - 17:00
Please note that from 1 January 2018 weekend opening hours will be from 12pm to 4pm.
School holidays/ bank holidays - Monday - Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00. (Last admission 15:30).

Admission to the museum costs £3.80 for adults (£3.00 concessions), £1.90 for children (free to under-fives), £8.00 for a family ticket.

Step back in time inside Thwaite House, a fine Georgian Grade II listed building, now used for displays to show what life was like in the 1940s - don't miss our Anderson shelter!
Thwaite Mills is a working watermill and you can experience the wheels in motion on a tour of the Museum.
