Great local and intercity service. Back of bus station is coach station .Available for Liverpool Manchester Derby. Both flix bus and national Express service available. For local arriva buses are there for Huddersfield Wakefield Bradford dewsbury etc. Mostly on time .Fares are reasonable. One way local around 2.5 and day saver any bus is 6.
I dont feel safe at this station. Always glad when my bus shows up. Although Ariva buses can be unreliable and infrequent especially after 18.30. The toilets have just been refurbished but they are still disgusting and when it rains the bus station leaks. Staff on station are unhelpful.

Clean station but lacks amenities for travels...nNo microwaves to heat baby milk/food...nNo dining table seating area...nNo proper outlet offering hot food to eat on premises...nJust one set of functional toilets...nInsufficient space for anyone whose bus stops for 30mins to eat...nIt's a busy hub and carers to many passengers on the move and transitioning; but there are no facilities for the transitioning passengers...nA better stop for them would be a service stop on the motorway than this bus/coach stop...nThe market next door...more empty than a tree devoid of leaves in winter...nThe town needs to regenerate this hub to uplift the area and stand for passengers...otherwise...disappointment will become rife...
Leeds City Bus Station is a deceptively good bus / coach station. It has a large concourse area, loads of sesting and several places to buy food and drink, including the Greggs, which is really good for coffee and pastries. The bus station is pretty clean and my coach was on time. Thunbs up!
