Decent pick up from waiting and good drive. What made it better was the fact my wife left her phone in the car. Taxi driver drove back after been dropped off 10-15 minutes and brought back the phone. Top lad
I pre booked a taxi to leeds and paid on their airpay system. It pre took £6.80 and then informed me that a further £8.05 would be taken to take my fare to the total £14.85 owed. But the company then took £14.85, and an additional £6.80 on top totalling £21.65. I called to ask for a refund and was told that it was in the terms and conditions of airpay that they could take more money and I would have to wait 5 days for a refund!!!! This is theft, as I am sure that the taxi driver would not allow me 5 days to pay for my fare ;. I have reported this fraudulent transaction to my bank and wanted to leave this review to warn others . I will use a different local firm henceforth and UBER .Service: Limousines
Booked through the app and was given a estimated time of 25 mins. I then rung 30 mins later to see if they had assigned me a driver. I was told I could be waiting up to another 15 minutes. I ended up waiting a 1 hour 30 mins for a taxi. DO NOT listen to the operators when given a time because this is not true, They tell you what you want to hear
Had Amber taxis to St James Hospital today to David Beavers theatres then home again. Quick journey pleasant gentleman drivers especially first when it was so damp, cold, icy and .....After procedure taken back home safe and sound by another kind , warm, pleasant gentleman who can ask for anymore? Thankyou Amber Cars for being Realiable,Trustworthy, reasonable priced journeys, pleasant drivers most of the time, and Considerate Thankyou for your services of which I heavily rely upon to get me around being disabled
Booked two cars for 8pm, one turned up at 7.45pm, the other at 8.30pm. Called twice to be told car was 5 mins away, obviously wasn't. One car charged £10.60, the other £9.70 to go to the same place. Got different company for return journey, cost was £8.90. Overpriced and unreliable.
Arrived within 4 minutes, the driver was really polite and friendly, and got me there safely. No rushing, just calm and confident driving. Thank you!
We are up from Kent and used this company twice and found them excellent and would recommend them to anybody in leeds
Just seen a blue Amber cars taxi with Asian driver abusing road users and driving extremely dangerous on the M62 he was sweaving in and out of traffic and breaking to a stop in front of them so they would crash into the back of him. He did the same with me. Very dangerous and mentally unstable drivers
Unfortunately this taxi company do not come at the agreed time. On multiple occasions they have left me waiting at the station late at night despite giving plenty of notice.
The taxi arrived promptly and the driver was very pleasant and courteous. I didn't like that the app has now started to insist on a more expensive credit card payment, so I had to book by phone which to be fair was still quick and easy. Overall, still an excellent service and would have been five stars, but for the app.Service: Limousines
