I used Amber Cards 3 times over a couple of days last week and was delighted with the service The drivers were all really friendly and chatty and all of them helped me with my luggage without needing to ask. The prices were very competitive - far cheaper than I was expecting. Forget Uber - this is the firm to use!

Booked a cab for ASAP.. (3 minutes wait) ... 27 minutes later - no taxi. Got a text saying the cab was soon arriving. So I left my building as soon as I got this message. Got a call minutes after from a very rude abrupt driver asking why I wasn’t outside. Told him I was on my way and would be a minute and that it was in fact him that was late and not me. Got into the taxi to be greeted my a very rude man. Started to be very racist to other taxi company’s (no names mentioned) constant swearing and slamming on into cars in front. If we came behind one of the other taxi company cars he proceeded to slam onto the breaks to make a point. I did not appreciate this. All I wanted was a taxi to the train station. The driver constantly huffed and puffed because we were going through Leeds in a busy time. Do not make me feel guilty for needing a taxi that goes through Leeds. You work in a city centre. EXPECT traffic. I got out early in the end because he made me feel that uncomfortable and I do not want to be around a racist. This complaint was sent onto Amber back in January but as always they don’t respond to anything, especially criticism. Don’t use this taxi company if you don’t want to be huffed and puffed at, witness racist abuse to other drivers and have constant swearing on your journey. AWFUL SERVICE

I’m a regular Amber customer using them roughly 12 times a week so spending about £130 a week £520 a month. Lately the level of service has gone down dramatically. I work in a late night bar so my second trip in the day tends to be pass mid-night, more than often now I am met with suspicion from the drivers. After a long shift it’s not what I want and actually find it really annoying. I will not be using Amber any more and I will make sure that my company is using a different company for our guests.

I would recommend Amber Cars to because it has really good customer service and very polite Drivers that help you with your things when you can not get everything. I am very pleased with this.

Driver 621 known as Rafa was unbelievable in terms of customer service and service value. Rafa conveniently picked us up from my address to headingly and after my night out picked us up and took us back to our home address by chance. He presented gold standard service through both trips and was friendly and a credit to amber cars brand image. Rafas efforts really encouraged me to use amber taxis company as this was the best customer experience I’ve ever seen from a taxi employee. A credit to the business and I hope he is rewarded for consistent efforts and attention to detail that he served to me and my girlfriend! Thanks again!
