Hard to fault this delightful hotel. Located in an historic precinct opposite the most interesting National Justice Museum and surrounded by a number of great pubs and restaurants.

Rooms are nicely maintained, quiet, fitted with a number of power outlets, and the stand out feature for me is that the bathroom offered a shower that worked - which in UK is a rarity.

Most helpful and courteous front desk staff. Good breakfast offering.

A very high standard hotel. Staff are friendly and well trained. Room was well prepared and felt special. The location was ideal. Happy to stay again, made a one night stay feel like a mini-break.

If you are looking for a good cooked breakfast, do not eat at this hotel.  Everything was fine having stayed at the hotel until the  following morning.  The cooked breakfast was poor.  Asked for well done bacon and it was not.  The poached eggs were luke warm, along with the beans and the 1 slice of bacon and 1 sausage were nothing more than average.  Difficult skin on the sausage.  Breakfast staff were not attentive to refilling coffee cups, taking orders for breakfasts and clearing away used pots.  Would have expected better for the price that I was paying for my room including breakfast.

A great quirky hotel only five minutes walk from the Market Place, in a quiet and trendy area of Nottingham. First rate staff and was lucky enough to have a room facing the very beautiful St. Mary's Church. The beds and pillows are very firm, fine if that is what you are used to. Pretty good value for a hotel in this location. Well worth staying.

I stayed here soon after it first opened. One of the first wave of boutique hotels, it has worn well and had good refurbishments. There is a kind of pub built in. No nonsense and pleasant food.
