Stayed 5 nights.Liked the room - it was comfortable. But I had problems with the key . It sometimes didn't unlock the door and I had to get a replacement. The shower was totally cold one morning and only tepid another. Chose to have the room serviced only twice and the first time it wasn't particularly well done - toilet not cleaned properly and tea/ coffee/ milk not replenished. One of the lifts was out of order the whole of our stay there.nThe breakfasts were really good and I couldn't fault the staff working in the breakfast area - really friendly and efficient. In fact all the staff were pleasant apart from the older man who worked in the reception area. He was at best offhand in the dealings I had with him and positively rude when we checked out.nThe location of the hotel is brilliant. Very central with tram and bus stops just outside.nDespite the one or two irritations where things were unsatisfactory it was overall a really convenient place to stay and well worth the money for the comfortable room and good breakfasts and generally helpful staff.
Stayed here for an event at the Motorpoint Arena & it was an excellent location, just a short 7 minute walk.nHotel room was nice & clean. Breakfast was lovely & staff were very helpful.nCar parking is available opposite & although it is expensive you get a discount for staying in the hotel.nOnly issue with the room I stayed in was that there was no view, it was behind the Ibis sign... other than that I have on complaints.nWould definitely stay there again.
Very pleasant and helpful staff. The only downside was that I stayed Fri - Mon and during that time no one came to clean my room, despite me putting the card on the door asking for it to be cleaned. I had to go to reception twice to ask for more tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Would've been nice to come back to the room after a very long day and not have to go down to reception again to ask for more. Other than that, very good experience and would stay again
We opted instead of travelling there and back this evening to a food & Wine tasting round the corner.nOpting to stay the night we liked the idea of the no fuss IBIS so booked.nRoom was very satisfactory if not missing some wall art.nBreakfast was very good although the milk coming out of the coffee machine was too sweat for my liking.nOverall a very good 8/10
Absolutely perfect! Staff are super friendly and accommodating. We dealt with a chap named Prem mostly and he was an incredible help.nThe room was in a brilliant condition, even left a beautiful 'Towel Swan' to say Happy Birthday to my wife. Absolutely everything you could need whilst staying here just a few steps in either direction.nBathroom exceptionally clean. Room was perfect.nWe had breakfast too, couldn't complain if I tried!nAbsolutely recommend this Hotel 100%
