Colwick Hall Hotel is a magnificent Palladian style Georgian country house mansion nestling in over sixty acres of parkland. A historic building dating back to Saxon times and once the ancestral home of Lord Byron.

Story

Colwick Hall Hotel is a wedding and conference centre in the East Midlands. Boasting luxury hotel facilities and extensive grounds, Colwick Hall sits just a couple of miles from Nottingham City Centre and is a very popular wedding venue with facilities for up to five hundred guests in the Lakeside Pavilion. Our beautiful Byron's Brasserie pays homage to Lord Byron's ancestral home, serving some of the most unique afternoon teas in Nottingham. You can also join us for modern British dining, Sunday lunches and we also cater for all of your special celebrations. We are a favourite location for racegoers, located on the door step of Nottingham Racecourse and The Greyhound Stadium.

Brilliant! Booked only a few days before visit. Room was absolutely beautiful and tidy. Price was incredible, stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast one morning which was absolutely beautiful!! Overall had a brilliant stay, the staff were helpful and friendly - made to feel very welcome. Thank you! Would definitely recommend.

Had afternoon tea at Colwick Hall. A great experience from start to finish, when emailing enquiries about booking the staff were helpful and prompt with responses and were flexible to our dietary needs. The restaurant was lovely and looked out over the fountain at the front. Again the staff in the Byron restaurant were friendly, competent and helpful. The food was great, with a lovely pea & mint soup, mini vegetable quiche and warm scones. The finger sandwiches were good and the cakes, including lemon drizzle, chocolate brownie, cupcake and shortbread. Overall couldn't have asked for better, would highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel and staff were all wonderful! Breakfast was delicious! Would love to visit again if we get chance. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely hotel, very clean. Service was very polite. Food was beautiful, very quiet location. Would recommend. Only downside is no lifts and getting luggage to the second floor is a nightmare.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and had the perfect day. Everything was great down to the smallest details. We also frequent Byron's Brasserie where the food and service is fantastic. Highly recommend as a venue, hotel and restaurant.
