Fantastic hotel room. Spacious and great temperature. Nice and quiet. Clean. Large bed which was very comfortable. Good bathroom and decent shower pressure. Great location.nnParking is very close opposite - pricey as per normal Nottingham parking- but 20% discount through hotel. I think £16 for 24hrs.nThe staff are fantastic and really responsive on the text app.
Friendly staff and a clean room. However, the walls are paper-thin, and the people in the room next door to us kept us awake until 3am, and the night manager couldn't help us. The people next door then woke us up again at 7am so we hardly got any sleep. It was very stressful. In the morning when we checked out the receptionist asked about our stay. We told him and he offered us an insulting level of compensation - a free upgrade next time we stay. Why assume that we would want to stay there again. What a cheek! We won't be staying in a Hilton again. I thought they were a good hotel chain, but they're clearly a rubbish budget hotel chain. We'll be staying elsewhere where we can get a good night's sleep.
Really nice hotel, good facilities and location can't be beat. Gym in the basement is small but has everything you need and there's a pool, sauna and steam room, too. Excellent breakfast buffet because it's a Hilton.
It's a real shame to be writing this as the staff were very nice. However, there were quite a few things wrong with my stay. For one the room, I had paid extra to get a deluxe which should have included a robe and slippers but I couldn't find any in my room, if I had known I wouldn't of bothered paying the extra if there was actually no extra at all. Also the cleanliness of my room left something to be desired, there were little hairs left at the side of the sink, hair in the shower, and a couple of bugs including a moth on my towel that had been hanging on the rail. Also the QR code to order room service on the TV didn't work and despite what the app said there was no QR code on my key card. No menus anywhere else either to check prices. The use your phone as the key didn't work either, so I had to go up to come back down again. Despite the rooms being no smoking allowed, some of the staff smoked personally which meant when they walked through the corridors it stunk. As listed in another review the doors slammed shut which meant getting through them especially in the corner room I had with luggage was difficult and the noise was annoying. When I was in the shower the temperature changed, moving from cold to hot. I think in cheaper hotels you maybe could have tolerated some of these, but the amount I paid for the poor quality was ridiculous. No one wants to stay in a hotel and have to remind people of things, you want to turn up and switch off so you can relax. Next time I'll save my money and go somewhere else.
Very spacious room for us, as we travelled with our daughter. The sofa bed for her was big and comfortable nought.Staff very friendly. Breakfast had variation and sausages were really tasty. Top service from Hilton as expected.
