Fantastic gym with some of the best equipment ive used. Never seemed to get too busy either in the mornings. Cardio area upstairs is perfect for after a workout. Staff and other members all really nice too!
Decent gym, good machines although could do with a bit more machines like bigger gyms I’ve been to, but overall does the job. staff very friendly. Only big big problem is the music at the gym is way too loud. I’ve asked more than 3 times for the volume to be reduced but never does. Most people wear headphones at the gym and want to hear their own music, but can’t hear my music in peace because the gym music is so loud, sometimes my ears will be ringing after my workout. This is the only reason I will be cancelling my membership because the loud music is actually annoying.
Shocking from the owner of King’s gym I’ve been going to this gym since it first opened and was a loyal member from day one. When the gym closed during Covid they begged members for their loyalty and to stick by the gym and carry on paying their membership while the gym was closed, with a guarantee that they will never increase mine or anyone else membership who sticks by and supports the gym during the pandemic. I’ve just had a email on Monday informing me that my membership will be increasing from £18 a month to £40 a month. This is an absolute joke. So my question is will the members who stuck by and supported Matt and his gym during the pandemic and helped him out be getting a full refund for the months the gym was closed during the pandemic as he’s clearly gone back on his word with pure greed of over a 100% increase
Even though I'm banned from the gym by the staff I still rate this a good gym it's one of my favorite gyms I've been to I like dark effect of the gym no other gym has the dark effect and I also like the equipment at the gym the weights and machines are good at the gym it's a unique gym and unusual gym to most gyms I've been to around UK the blue dark effect makes it unusual that's what I like about the gym
