Sadly the pool is the same one i swam in as a kid 35 years ago, ingrained grime all around the edge, the changing rooms are always filthy, showers are slow and dirty and nowhere near enough of them. 2 great swimming tutors but also some very disinterested ones lacking the skills needed to work with kids
Very very outdated leisure centre. Went swimming for the first time to see the leisure centre. Wouldn’t go again. If you want to shower, make sure to bring your own because honestly these showers were the worst showers ever a little trickle which you then have to turn on every 3-4 seconds. The pools themselves are very outdated taking you back to the 1990s and the locker rooms?! Missing locks missing door handles. Look like they haven’t been cleaned either or very well maintained.
They need more than one person at reception especially busy hour and receptionis should not answer the phone when there is people waiting long queues for her. Today she was on the phone 15 min and finally someone come out from the back of the reception desk and took the payment for ice cream, it start melting in my hand. She not bother alot of people waiting in front of her.
Do not use … they cancel constantly 3 times in 3 months we experienced. They still charger and the payment came out of the 1st, we rang and cancelled on the 4th and they said we still had to pay the next month.nnThe facilities are poor, water temperature constantly changes and the floor in the changing rooms is all pulled up.
This leisure centre is good, but i would say if there is any ladies area included inside the gym area, it would be much more helpful.
