Great Transport HubnWe used Kensington Olympia to get to Chelsea harbour with the train. It was really efficient & fast, not a long wait either. What I really liked though about this station is the staff, the two people I spoke with here were super nice.nGreat experience, comes highly recommended by me.
Although the station has been much improved since the makeover for the London Overground, there are still no lifts to the station over bridge.nnIf you are able to handle stairs, the southbound platform 3 for Mildmay Line and Southern trains services is only a three to four minute walk from the main entrance Olympia Grand Hall.nnHowever if you cannot use the stairs, you need to take a ten minute 500 metre diversion via Olympia Way and Kensington High Street to use the not well signposted level access eastern entrance to the station on Russell Road between Fairfax Place and Holland Gardens.
This station is served by London Overground and Southern trains. The district line only stops here on public holidays weekends and when some events are on at Olympia. There is exits and entrances on both platforms the platforms are long and wide. When events are on at Olympia the station can be very busy.
The station has a toilet! It feels a little unloved tho, but if you’re in the need for the toilet then it works well of course. You’ll have to pay to go into the Station to use it, but I think if you tap in and back out at the same station in a certain time frame you’ll get your money back. The station otherwise has long platforms with freight trains and Uber ground lines.
Clean Station with facilities of toilets which is very rare now. Friendly staff alway there to assist.
