A nice train station that is served by thameslink trains there is two exits and entrances at this station which has lifts available to the platforms. The station was clean and staff are around in the ticket hall for assistance. There are four platforms which are long for 12 car trains. The Jubilee line and London Overground stations are a two minute walk from West Hampstead Thameslink.
Trains constantly delays and even with ticket that works at all other barriers at other stations , does not work at this thames link station !nNo guard at gate to even ger help to open barrier, there is a remote help point, but very hard to understand what remote staff as saying.
I found this station great. Run by Thameslink company. Nice n cool staff, really helpful. Wide open station, easy to move another platform. Bright n clean station. Easy to have other link services like Overground or Underground which r around this station.

Since the refurbishment, West Hampstead train station is a much nicer place to get local connections to Croydon and Bedford. The only minor gripe is that the WH Smith seems to have slightly odd working hours it closed at 12.30 on a Sunday and the Oyster ticket machine is on the inside of the barrier as well as, you know, outside of needing to have a ticket.
