Breakfast had a lovely range, all cooked items were hot. Beds were super comfy, blackout curtains great. Despite being right next to the rail tracks, we maybe noticed 1 or 2 trains go by and they were very quiet. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant for dinner was delicious! Fish and chips with peas and onion rings. Cocktails were strong and tasty! Definitely will use again. Subway was a 2 min walk away. Use the Jamaican street car park as the hotel will give you a code for 50% off parking if you buy your ticket online in advance. Coffee facilities in the room were great, shower nice and hot, fresh towels provided and bed made each day. Tv in room was simple to use but huge range of channels, including radio. Nearby activities: We took a subway to the Kelvingrove Art gallery and museum. 10 min subway followed by 10 min walk. We spent all day at the museum! Next to the St Eunch subway is a shopping mall and shopping area. Loads of eating places to choose from!
My wife and I stayed here on our first anniversary. The stay was excellent. The hotel had a bottle of bubbly, a bar of chocolate and had put up balloons in the room for us This was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The room was spotless and the views out the windows were very impressive. Breakfast was well cooked and there was a great selection on offer. Any staff member we encountered was very professional. We will 100% book here for any future overnight trips to Glasgow as we have stayed in a few round the city but the Leonardo blows them all away.
Very poor service. The room AC is only a fan and every hour auto shut off. I complaint but the lady in the reception has an attitude. They didnt clean the room unless I complaint that garbages still there and show to the one of the staff they didnt clean the glass. Horribly and poorly failed on cleanliness and service.Didnt even ask hows the room or are we ok. Bedroom no sofa to sit, I booked double standard room only beds are there. AC dint work they gave us a fan that can only out on top of the table below TV Ruined our convenient vacation. I am a Leonardo Hitels member and stayed in many hotels in Europe for years but this Hotel service or the lady staff needs a disciplinary sanction and cleanliness neefs to check. Dont deserve to pay the amount as they charge.
The hotel is in a great location, just around the corner from Glasgow central and a subway station not to far away. Our room overlooked the train tracks going into the station so it was a bit noisy. The room itself was comfortable and very clean and the staff we all very helpful and friendly.Rooms: 5/5
Very clean hotel. I stayed here on a Saturday night with my partner. The check in was quick and easy. The rooms were very spacious and with the coffee options in the room it won brownie points for me. Beds were very comfortable. The decor was nice and clean and the view was reasonable. Would definitely return due to location, cleanness and price
Stayed just one night would return, room was lovely clean, fantastic shower, tea and coffee facilities bed really comfortable staff very helpful Noteworthy details: Close to railway station easy access to shops good bus service to get around buy a day pass £5.20 for the day to get around
This was me and my partners first hotel stay in quite a while, we could not have picked a better hotel. The staff, room, facilities were absolutely perfect. We will definitely be staying again, thank you for an amazing stay.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely awful. The bed and pillows were hard and the train ran all night long, not allowing me to get any sleep. We called to order breakfast and were told that room service was only available after 12, called again because we had ordered something from the 24 hour part of the menu. We had to call reception and they said they would call us back, we waited a half hour and they never did. After calling them back we were finally able to order our food, and it came cold. If youre looking for a place to sleep for only one night and arent expecting any room service i would still look for a different place.
Perfect location in the city, 15 mins walk from Queen Street trains, and right on the river. Some of the rooms have a great view too. Service is wonderful and the staff attentive and supportive. Recommend for divergent folk, has a super executive lounge which is private and quiet.Rooms: 4/5
I was pleasantly surprised. It’s much more upscale than I was expecting based on other Leonardo locations I’ve stayed in. Beautiful interior. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was so cute and clean. I didn’t try the restaurant as I ate elsewhere but I really enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure. Rooms: Clean. Nice design. Beautiful bathrooms. Nearby activities: Very close to anything you could need really. Within 5 min to places to eat or things to see, within 20 to big shops and attractions, within 10 min drive to some great tourist spots. Walkability: Easy to walk to almost anything you need. Great location
