We ordered a bed and mattress and they duly arrived on the agreed day and time. Unfortunately, the bed arrived damaged but the John Lewis staff were very courteous and helpful in dealing with the problem. They immediately ordered a replacement and within minutes we were contacted by a John Lewis's Customer Service employee who apologized to us for the inconvenience, without us asking she gave us a good will discount and dealt with the matter quickly and efficiently. The next week the new bed arrived, it was fitted very quickly and competently, we are delighted. Well done John Lewis! We have been clients for years and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work! Recommended!

Excellent customer service! I can't complain at all. Prices are high but the quality of products is worth it versus their online competitors.

Too much to tell!!! Just love it. Great choice of stuff and lovely staff and fab atmosphere....always cheers me up. Always find what I want and it's always the best quality for a great price :)

BE CAREFUL. You refund may NOT be processed. If you paid your item with gift card, John Lewis said the refund will be your on-line credit, but they may not refund at all if you do not ask. It happened a few times for me. Also, you on-line credit can NOT be used as a part payment if you are going to pay by gift card. John Lewis now is try to get your money in its pocket.

I made a valiant effort to pay JL for a curtain rail fitting. However the suited and booted service execs at JL cleverly parried with their clipboards - saying they couldn't help at the till, putting me on hold for hours and ignoring my emails - clever bunch! Highly recommend a jaunt round the kitchenwear but avoid trying to buy anything meaningful (beyond a latte on the top floor). Until our next meeting!
