This is an excellent department store. It's clean, tidy, spacious and well laid out. There are 5 floors, with each one having a wide range of departments, selling pretty much anything and everything you can think of.nnThere are two cafes inside the shop, but I prefer the one on the top floor, as I think it offers better value for money.nnThe staff are friendly and helpful, although I find that it can sometimes be difficult to find a staff member who is free and able to help.nnOverall, an excellent department store and well worth visiting.
I received helpful informative advice from Toby in relation to Apple products.nHe was very patient and took the time to answer all my concerns about what Apple products would suit my needs. He didn’t bombard me with high tech information and explained about the processors in the products. In the end I purchased more than I had intended to because Toby simply answered all my questions in a clear knowledgeable way. Just placed my order online. Thank you .
Wanted to create a core memory of purchasing a crib for our baby, department had no prices on stock, young and old staff members within department showed zero interest, Mardy and unprofessional with zero knowledge on any products. Both were glued to there phones with no idea on the premise of eye contact.nnThe store then had nothing in stock and told to go home and order online. If the business gets robbed my instincts now would be to hold the door open as I’ve lost all respect for the company.
The younger lady in menswear was helpful and polite. Unfortunately, the older woman running the section was disinterested and unpleasant, making no effort to assist. Likewise, one older gentleman closed the changing rooms 30 minutes early and was rude.nnThe service from the experienced staff simply wasn’t good enough next to the helpful young assistant. They could learn a lot from her, hopefully, management will make sure of it.nnWon’t be returning, their whole brand has become a laughing stock for customer service
I always have a great experience at the Chanel counter in John Lewis Cambridge, thanks to the incredible customer service from Tania, the Sales Assistant. She is always super friendly, helpful, and goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Her knowledge and warm approach keep me coming back!nnToday, she helped me wrap a gift for my friend, who will be receiving a Chanel perfume for the first time. She made sure it was beautifully presented and added such a personal touch to the experience. If you’re looking for outstanding service, Tania is the best!
