Paid £3.95 for a sausage sandwich in the JL Aberdeen restaurant today. For this I got two small poor quality sausages served on equally poor quality and tasteless white bread. The experience reminded me why Greggs is so popular!

Compare prices before shopping for Christmas presents My wife and I bought exactly the same iPads for each other. I bought from Apple and my wife from John Lewis in Aberdeen. They were bought as Christmas presents with gift receipts. We noticed while off for new year the John Lewis iPad cost 14.5% more expensive (£80)!! When the store reopened on the 2nd january 2018 I phoned and asked about the price promise. You are given 28 days to claim with no exceptions given. Even although it was bought as a gift and the store was closed for more days during the 28 days. Had it been 28 working days we were covered. We had already been becoming more and more disillusioned with John Lewis value for money and this just proved it! Take great care if buying presents from John Lewis as they clearly impose a policy to disadvantage people buying Christmas presents early. Price check before going!

This is the second time I have had breakfast,time11-am, no bacon no egg, sausages were white I asked for bacon told it would be 10mins, same last time vastly overpriced you can get a 7Item breakfast elsewhere for 4-75. Needless to say I won't be back, I shop a lot at JL. and have a JL card. The service staff not great either sorry to say. Caroline Butler Aberdeen.
