Have visited the store twice in the last couple of weeks to purchase computer games for my son. All the staff very attentive and helpful. The products have all been of a good standard if not a little pricey. Compared to other shops of this type. They have a database linking all the shops in Britain so of you are looking for a particular item. I would check on line first

I've been happy with my purchases and trade ins. I think they have excellent deals, but sometimes, more expensive items have to be on par with current competitor prices. I am aware if that so it doesn't bother me. The staff I have met have all been excellent. The only problem I have, (deduct one star) is the music, which can be VERY heavy and VERY loud. When it's like that I can't stay and browse. Even if there's something I want. I would have to leave.

Most of the stuff is good value and if there's any problem you can take it back for replacement or store credit.

Been loyal to CEX for good 5 years if not longer. Bought iPhone 5c in Edinburgh store back in December ‘17. Condition B according to CEX. Phone had two small cracks: one next to AUX and another one next to microphone. Got myself a new phone recently, so went to the store in Aberdeen today to sell this iPhone 5c and been told that due to those two cracks they can’t accept it. When I said that I actually bought it from yourselves with these two cracks few months ago all I’ve got is there’s nothing we can do. I won’t be back for sure and don’t recommend CEX to anyone. There’s way more convenient places out there.
