Expensive. Poor service. Food took 40 mins to be ready it's supposed to be quick and easy street food. Food is ok once you get it, order beef not chicken, I got loads of beef, but the other dish had like 4 pieces of chicken in it. The kids menu option had more chicken....for half price. With all the options Leeds has or even just trinity kitchen, there is no real need to try this spot.
It was a cold day in Leeds, and we were in the mood for a warming bowl of Vietnamese Pho making our decision easy to check out PHO Vietnamese Street Food at Trinity Kitchen. We ordered the Summer Rolls and the Pho Chin. The summer rolls were probably some of the best we have had and the dipping sauce was balanced and not too thick. As for the Pho, this was very underwhelming. Not even the condiments and extra greens could save it. The broth was bland and did not have the depth we were expecting. The brisket was also very lean and ended up being stringy when we ate it. We will maybe return to try the other menu items.
I ordered for spicy curry veg, and it lived up to my expectations. The food and staff were both exceptional. It’s a must place to visit for Vietnamese food. Shout to Izabella and Maddie for their amazing and friendly service.Food: 5/5
Extremely underwhelming. Can't recall the last time I felt so disappointed after ordering food. Arrived at 11.20 to be told not taking orders before 11.30 even though website states opens at 11am. Didn't have any rice bowls which is why I went. 20 minutes after ordering my order was ready. Don't understand what took so long when everything I ordered would take literally 2 minutes to cook or just need 'plating up'. Glad it wasn't busy. Baby Squid was cooked nicely crispy coating and tender squid but the baby Squid was also a baby portion for >£6. Chinese leaf was also a tiny portion about 2 leaves chopped into tiny pieces for >£4 and was swimming in the saltiest, cheapest tasting soy sauce. Beef brisket Pho - the soup base had some flavour but was far from amazing yet the beef itself somehow was devoid of taste. Overall I could have made it better myself for 2 people for half the price. I wouldn't recommend and won't return. Lesson learned.
I really like visiting here as I get to eat this great Vietnamese food, whilst my less adventurous son has the choice of some of the other food vendors in Trinity Kitchen. The guys at Pho are super helpful and happy to recommend or alter a dish slightly if you need. The noodle soup I had was fresh, healthy and really tasty. I would highly recommend this place for those needing a quick bite to eat when in Leeds. Thanks nice people at Pho!
Last Saturday I was eat for my lunch Spicy Chicken soup with extra greens. Food was recommended by lovely Izabella, who was serving me on the till.Busy shopping centre , but food was bang on & quick. Great dish to eat for this cold weather.Food: 5/5
Ordering our food with my daughter was easy and quick. Staff are nice and always polite, always smiling. Food is incredibly tasty and delightful. I'm always happy wuth these nice dishes. Kid-friendliness: We tried the kid's menu, too. My daughter loved rice noodle soup so much. Prawn cracker are superb.
I'm not big on Vietnamese food so I was a little apprehensive to eat here when it was suggested by my friends. I was also concerned that, for how much I was spending, the portions wouldn't fill me up but I very much enjoyed the curry I bought and found I was satisfied, even without getting a starter. We had a quite large group of 9 of us but the staff were very competent on how to attend to so many people. Our main server Chelsea and the rest of the staff working were very helpful, especially considering how busy it was.
Well, this is a shocker. Loved Pho when it opened 11 years ago and was craving some lovely Vietnamese having had a gorgeous Pho in Chester at the weekend. It arrived via Deliveroo with 1. Open lids 2. Both my broth and noodles spilt all over the bag 3. No sauces This isn't just Deliveroo's fault; the boxes looked like they weren't closed properly in the first place. And despite the spillage even with that in mind the food looked dirty and cold so was probably a lucky escape -broken noodles barely more than an inch long. Absolutely appalling- other Vietnamese places like Pho 37 & Hanoi Social do it so much better than this, and doubly a shame as you used to be so good. The driver even said the bag was wet when he collected it??!?!?!? Appalling quality and service.
We tried the tofu n mushroom wok fried noodles, and the spicy tofu vietnamese curry. The noodles were one of our favourites and they're so fresh and there was amazing crunchiness and chewiness to it. The curry was a new trial, and it was creamy, spicy, and had the best mix of textures.
