If I could give a 0 star I would. Very awful receptionist,they don’t care about human feelings. I took my university forms there for it to be signed. It didn’t need much and it was just a basic thing to be as the uni only wanted to know if I’ve got a Gp. Now something that could have been done within a day or two, took more than three months. They phoned me to come and get the forms,making me leave my job to run there only to tell me different stories. I have been doing in and out for more than 11 times. I feel they don’t have an idea of what their job is about. A receptionist called me again to pick the forms,I asked if there was any requirements she said no,now I get there and they tell me they’ll be taking a cash of £40,I had no cash on me,and wanted to pay with a contact lens and they refused. All they could say was “we’re sorry the receptionist didn’t tell you of the requirements. Now the date for me to submit the forms to uni has even expired all because of their inefficiency
This surgery needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY . It is very badly managed , or rather mismanaged . It does not meet patients needs and patients are not well looked after . DO NOT BELIEVE THE FIVE STAR REVIEWS .There is often NO DOCTOR in the surgery for weeks or months. That is against the law The one doctor who is there is excellent. However , it is virtually impossible to see her or even speak to her, which is not her fault There are a few receptionists who are good at their job and efficient but others who are lazy and incompetent . When you try to make an appointment with a doctor which is your LEGAL RIGHT , you get text message stating that a doctor will call you at a certain time but a doctor NEVER DOES . A nurse who works at the practice , called Lucia lacks patient care and is disingenuous . She screams and shouts at patients. You can be extremely ill but she refuses to tell the doctor and she has been caught out lying. I was given the usual form to have a blood test to be taken at a hospital . Just before my appointment , I checked my form only to see that it had somebody else’s name and date of birth on it! That’s a very serious mistake to make by The Jai Medical Centre. A patient had managed to make an appointment with a doctor . She arrived for her appointment only to be told that her appointment had been cancelled . She asked why she hadn’t been notified about the cancellation and the receptionist said nothing . The patient said that she’d taken time off work from the hospital ward, to attend the appointment and this was the SECOND time this had happened to her at the Jai Medical Centre . There are too many mistakes and terrible aspects about The Jai Medical Centre to list . The Jai Medical centre has a reputation amongst other medical professionals to be badly managed and a terrible surgery . It’s astonishing that such a medical centre with shoddy practices actually exists in a developed country .
Terrible surgery , lack of GP, text messages are sent regarding appointments but nobody bothers to ring you back The triage system does not work It is the worst ever You cannot get through to the pharmacy on the phone, voicemail full. 10days later still waiting for a phone call So many Jai medical centres but Where are the GPs !!!!!!!!
I wish I could give -5 stars! Extremely rude and unprofessional staff at reception, they regularly hang up the phone if they don’t like the questions that don’t fit their narrative or you challenge them on something. Even if you managed to get trough a doctor or a nurse the patient care is appalling and most of the time the problems are left unresolved and you have to look for other ways to take care of yourself. You have to always beg for things to be done on their side! Getting a antidepressant prescription was a nightmare every 2 months. Enough is enough I’m leaving this GP practice!
I had a heart scan a few weeks ago, during the scan they told me I needed High Blood Pressure Tablets as it would take the strain off my heart. Which is two times larger than it should be. I contacted surgery, who received the results, and stated everything was fine..they told me I would need more blood tests even though, blood tests had already been taken months prior. Was told the doctor would call me for a appointment: NO CALL. Told I would get a call back from reception: NO CALL. They don't care about there clients. Avoid, if you have issues.. contact them directly with your complaint, then raise it with the NHS region then with the health Ombudsman. Or join another surgery...
5 working days later after putting in a request for my 88 year old Grandmas repeat prescription, they have failed to sort this out leaving a vulnerable old lady with health issues without any medication for today and tomorrow most likely the weekend too. They say repeat prescriptions will be done within 72 hours but 99% of the time, we spend hours trying to chase them only to be fobbed off by the receptionist. Worst service GP surgery. Avoid at all costs
Worst surgery ...I am not at all happy, my family suffering a lot because of them. No referral done on time, I was chasing them for 9 months for my referral and my daughter's, got 6 appointments for same purpose but no result. I requested to speak to manger and receptionist refused and said he is busy. It seems they don't care about people and even elderly .
Extremely rude receptionists at the surgery, no people skills or empathy. They are very dismissive and make you feel rubbish when you need their help to secure an appointment! The surgery has declined and the management don’t seem to care enough to do anything about it.
As per my last visit, the practice nurses are amazing and a credit to this surgery. My appointment was on time and the nurse was a dab hand at getting blood out of a stone. I can't speak for the doctors, but the nurses are very competent.
Very unsatisfied and unhappy with the service provided by one of the receptionists at this GP. I will be switching surgeries to get the correct service and treatment patients deserve. The doctors here are good but, sadly due to the Receptionist that they have chosen to be the first point of contact for patients, I would not recommend this GP. She does not have the skills to speak to patients in an appropriate manner. If you want to have a nice and sensitive person picking up the phone when you are ill do not attend this GP.
