Nice restaurant in a pretty good location especially if you're into Harry potter and all that. Prices reasonable as well. Good quality food. Portions are decently sized however as a self confessed appetite monster, I could have done with a few more morsels of salmon than was served. Solid choice for a meal out

Situated on Victoria Street, Howies is a beautiful restaurant with an extensive Scottish menu. I went for the Cullen Skink (which I would absolutely recommend, it's delicious) and slow-cooked beef casserole. £80 for a 2-course meal for 2 inc wine isn't expensive either. I'd certainly add this to my list of restaurants to visit again.

Good restaurant. We had the 3 course meal option for around £13.50. It was good to get a taste of lots of things but the serving sizes were a little bit too small. Came here for haggis and wasn't disappointed, great place if you want a good haggis. Very nice atmosphere as well.

Delicious food for a fair price. Go early and get the two course early dinner deal, it’s well worth it. I got the catch of the day and it was quite possibly the best hake I’ve ever had. Great service as well.

Food was great. I'm not sure I understand how my dessert qualified as pudding, but it was good. Meals clearly marked whether they were without gluten or not.
