Bill's Manchester Restaurant

This place opens early at 8:00 am for a nice weekend breakfast. The staff were very polite and friendly. The pot of tea was very generous enough for two people. The pancakes were thick and fluffy, the bacon was a tad salty but that depends on personal preference. There are lots of other options for breakfast.

2 stars because the service was friendly, the ingredient's fair quality and they accommodated my off menu request for bean's on toast. But why bother when you serve it barely warm and in quantities that must make bean's more valuable than gold. I enjoyed paying £4.80 for the pleasure, so the full price for toast with jam's and marmalade and an extra portion of bean's, but I didn't get the jam's and marmalade. The full English was pretty average for nearly £9, but at least it had garnish? I know chains have bigger overheads and staffing costs etc, but the world is a poorer place when you can't deliver decent bean's on toast or piping hot food.

While the meal wasn't overly creative, it was really good. I'm never disappointed by a meal at Bill's. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, from checking on us at appropriate intervals to sending us off with a birthday treat. As for quality, the cauliflower was great. You can't really go wrong with cauliflower, but this was especially perfect. Try it, you'll see what I mean.

The service at Bill’s was great. I had the Bill’s Breakfast and an Americano. It was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend came with a sweet tooth! and couldn't be happier with the desserts that came and then went to albert square to see the Xmas lights switch on!!
